Experience the Excitement of the ‘Mooner Uniform Day’ Event with LG Twins!

From May 14, LG Uplus and LG Twins will hold a collaboration event featuring the character ‘Mooner’ at the Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul for three days. ‘Mooner’ is a character representing the identity of fresh graduates, tailored to the MZ generation of LG Uplus.

The two companies first collaborated in 2022 with a story about ‘Mooner joining the LG Twins marketing team as an intern’, continuously offering fresh experiences for baseball fans every year. This year, as a response to the support from LG Twins fans who celebrated the team’s integrated championship in 2023, a special event is planned for the fans.

Firstly, from the 14th, during the weekday three-game series between the LG Twins and Kiwoom Heroes, the ‘Mooner Uniform Day’ will take place. During the event, LG Twins players will wear specially designed uniforms inspired by the Mooner character.

On the 15th, there will be a photo zone set up in the square next to the main ticket office featuring an 8-meter tall Mooner air balloon and other large sculptures. At the photo zone, spectators will also have the chance to win prizes by throwing baseballs at a target. Various prizes including keychain dolls, tote bags, memo pads, and emojis will be prepared.

LG Uplus will sell new merchandise such as support headbands and keychain doll sets at the Interpark offline shop located at Jamsil Sports Complex and the Mooner Store (https://smartstore.naver.com/moonostore). Additionally, during the event period, the uniforms worn by the players featuring the Mooner character will be available for purchase at the official LG Twins Authentic Store at Jamsil Sports Complex, the Mooner Store, and ‘Everyday’s Space by U+’ (near Gangnam Station), and ‘Everyday’s Space Hongdae Entrance’.

Last year, benefiting from the ongoing success of LG Twins, who won their first Korean Series title in 29 years, all Mooner collaboration merchandise was sold out, highlighting its popularity.

Kim Darim, head of IMC at LG Uplus, stated, “I believe that our collaboration with LG Twins not only enhanced the recognizability of the Mooner character but also positively shaped its image. We will continue to plan various collaboration products that can provide empathy and enjoyment to MZ generation customers.”
