INEOS Grenadier: Official Service Centers Unveiled Ahead of First Customer Deliveries in Korea

CHAUTO Motors, the official importer of INEOS Automotive in South Korea, has announced six official service centers located in major cities across the country ahead of the first customer delivery of the INEOS Grenadier scheduled for early May.

INEOS Automotive aims to ensure that most of its customers worldwide are within 45 minutes’ drive to an authorized service center. The domestic service centers are strategically placed in key areas including Seoul, Ilsan, Singal, Daejeon, Jeonju, and Busan (with more to be announced later). Each service center comprises experienced and certified advisors and professional technicians, providing comprehensive after-sales services such as routine inspections, general maintenance, accident repairs, emergency assistance, and vehicle towing support.

The Grenadier’s body-on-frame design is intentionally made for easy access and servicing both internally and externally. The official service centers will stock common parts to ensure quick service for customers when issues arise. Any parts not available at the service center will be shipped via express delivery from a global parts hub situated in Europe, covering an area of 6,000 square meters.

INEOS is confident in the durability and reliability of the Grenadier following an intensive vehicle testing program spanning 1.8 million kilometers. As such, Korean customers can enjoy peace of mind through a comprehensive vehicle warranty covering 5 years/ unlimited mileage. Additionally, a 12-year perforation warranty is offered for the ladder-frame chassis and body components.

Conceived by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Chairman of INEOS Group, the Grenadier combines the rugged spirit and design of the UK with the meticulous engineering of Germany, featuring a proven BMW 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, ladder frame chassis, permanent four-wheel drive system, up to three locking differentials, and solid beam axles.

The Grenadier lineup starts with a blank canvas in the form of a station wagon that can be tailored to meet the precise needs of customers. It provides the comfort, sophistication, and essential features that today’s drivers expect. Prices for the Grenadier station wagon begin at 109.9 million won.

In Korea, five trims are available: the five-passenger Grenadier station wagon, the Grenadier Trialmaster Edition, the Grenadier Fieldmaster Edition, the Grenadier Fieldmaster Edition with Rough Pack, and the Grenadier Korea Pack.

On March 22, Lynn Calder, CEO of INEOS Automotive, and Justin Hawke, Regional President for Asia Pacific, visited INEOS Grenadier Seoul in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, to inspect the preparations for the sales and service of the INEOS Grenadier. Lynn Calder expressed his excitement by stating, “Finally, the first customer deliveries are starting in Asia, especially in the Korean market, which is very encouraging,” adding, “This will be an important milestone for INEOS Automotive, and our headquarters will do its utmost to ensure that Korean customers can smoothly access the sales and after-sales services for the Grenadier.”
