Eurox: The Leading Brand in the DEF Market for Six Consecutive Years

Eurox, the urea solution brand produced and sold by Lotte Fine Chemical, ranked first in the DEF sector during the ‘2024 Korea Brand Power Index’ survey hosted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).

Eurox has maintained its top position for six consecutive years since the first brand power survey in the DEF sector in 2019, solidifying its stature as the leading brand in the domestic DEF market.

The ‘Korea Brand Power Index’ survey is a major domestic brand evaluation that assesses consumer influence on brands. KMAC conducts one-on-one interviews with 12,500 men and women aged between 15 and 60 to select the top brands in various sectors.

A representative from Lotte Fine Chemical stated, “We deeply appreciate the trust and support we have received from consumers for a long time in the DEF market,” and added, “We will continue to strive to achieve customer satisfaction with top-quality products and differentiated services.”

Eurox has been recognized for its quality and value, supplying original DEF to the largest number of automobile manufacturers, including global automobile giants like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Scania, MAN, Stellantis, as well as domestic manufacturers such as Hyundai and Tata Daewoo.

Additionally, Eurox holds the permanent trademark rights to the international quality standard for DEF, ‘AdBlue’, set by the German Automotive Industry Association and has been the top-selling brand in the domestic market for 15 consecutive years (according to Ministry of Environment statistics), maintaining customers’ trust.

DEF is a catalyst used in diesel vehicles’ SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems, helping to remove nitrogen oxides (NOx), which are one of the causes of fine dust in exhaust gases, thereby significantly contributing to improving air quality.
