‘Overview of the Volvo Jinju Showroom’

Volvo Korea announced on the 8th that it has opened a new showroom and service center in Jinju to strengthen its engagement with customers in the western Gyeongnam region and to provide premium services.

The Volvo Jinju Showroom and Service Center, operated by Iron Motors, an official dealer of Volvo Cars Korea, has a total floor area of 2,276.39㎡ (approximately 688 pyeong) and spans four stories with ample parking space for up to 41 vehicles. Notably, it is characterized by its operation using eco-friendly energy sourced from solar panels, aligning with Volvo’s philosophy of sustainability.

The first floor of the showroom and service center features a reception area for service registration, a delivery zone for vehicle handover, and work bays, equipped with fast (DC combo) and slow (AC combo) chargers for electric vehicles. The second floor offers a display space where customers can explore various models from the Volvo lineup and a premium lounge for customer relaxation. The third and fourth floors are dedicated to bodywork and painting repair areas.

Additionally, it can accommodate up to 590 general repairs and accident repairs per month, providing clients with Volvo’s exclusive premium service through the ‘Volvo Personal Service (VPS)’ program, which matches service technicians with customers for personalized service.

Lee Yun-mo, CEO of Volvo Korea, stated, “We have opened a showroom and service center simultaneously in Jinju to allow more customers to experience Volvo’s Swedish premium service. Going forward, Volvo Korea aims to pursue qualitative growth that enhances customer satisfaction alongside quantitative expansion through the steady development of our network.”

Meanwhile, in response to the increasing customer demand, Volvo Korea plans to secure a service network through a massive investment of around 100 billion won this year. Following the recent openings in Seosuwon DTS and Yongsan, there are plans to establish showrooms in Cheongju and Gunsan, as well as open service centers in regions including Daechi in Seoul, Hanam, Cheongju, and Gunsan, to enhance the differentiated customer experience.
