KGM Mobility revealed the production model of the Rexton Limousine at the recently held Seoul Mobility Show, capturing the attention of many visitors. The new model is named ‘Rexton Summit,’ enhancing its premium nature, and it will be launched on the 8th.
The Rexton Limousine concept model unveiled at the Seoul Mobility Show in March 2023 is a premium SUV equipped with the highest-class amenities, from two individual luxury seats in the second row to headrest monitors. Based on this, KGM has optimized the production specs to enhance interior comfort, off-road and on-road driving performance, and safety.
The most notable change in the Rexton Summit is its luxurious independent seats. The high-end second-row premium natural leather seats can recline up to 140 degrees and slide 16.8 cm, allowing passengers to relax in comfort similar to sitting in first class on an airplane. The second-row center console offers various functions, including a refrigerator, reading lights, first-row seat controls, wireless phone charger, and cup holders.
Moreover, the rear seat entertainment system boasts a large 14-inch screen that supports streaming content such as Netflix and YouTube, while the super surround system integrates a subwoofer and dual amplifiers, providing a three-dimensional sound experience.
Additionally, the driving performance has been enhanced. The Rexton Summit features a newly designed acceleration logic that applies a power booster, ensuring smooth yet explosive acceleration. Furthermore, specialized tuned shock absorbers and comfortable tuning springs are included, allowing for a powerful performance and comfortable ride across any driving environment while the wide hub space enhances cornering performance and robust exterior design.
To improve both on-road and off-road performance and reduce road noise, 20-inch low-noise A/T tires with a multi-pitch tread pattern were implemented, ensuring excellent grip and optimal driving performance.
Additionally, the vehicle comes standard with KGM’s active driving safety technology, including Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (IACC), as part of the advanced Deep Control safety assistance system, along with nine airbags, seatbelt reminders for all seats, and a four-layer ultra-high-strength quadrate frame. It showcases a top-level safety structure that is among the best in Korea.
The starting price for the Rexton Summit is set at ▲60.5 million won, with optional upgrades such as the super surround system (950,000 won) and active exhaust sound (1.4 million won) available according to customer preference.
