MINI Korea successfully concluded the “2023-2024 JCW Challenge Finale” held over two days on the 9th and 10th at the MINI Driving Center in Yeongjongdo, Incheon.
Started in 2022, the annual “MINI JCW Challenge” allows customers who own a MINI JCW model to experience the powerful performance unique to JCW and the go-kart-like feeling inherent to MINI by driving their vehicles on the track. Participants can fully enjoy the fierce acceleration and agile handling performance of the JCW models through competition on the track.
Before the final event, a qualifying round was held last November where about 110 JCW owners, who registered through official MINI dealers, showcased intense competition. After the heated contest, 29 participants advanced to the MINI JCW Challenge Finale.
In the finale, skills were tested through two categories: “Time Trial” and “Gymkhana,” leading to the selection of the final winner after fierce competition. The overall champion received the opportunity to tour the Goodwood Festival in the UK and visit the MINI Oxford factory, along with airfare and accommodation as prizes. The second and third placements received vouchers for vehicle customization worth 2 million and 1 million KRW respectively through ‘My MINI Detailing’.
Apart from the races, special programs were also held. The event featured various exciting activities for participants’ companions to fully experience the performance and charm of the MINI JCW, including the ▲ Gymkhana Challenge ▲ Counter Steer Experience ▲ JCW Bus ▲ MINI Driving Center Tour ▲ Racing Simulator ▲ MINI RC Car Racing, which greatly enriched the event.
MINI Korea plans to further strengthen customer loyalty and enhance brand awareness through various events, including the MINI JCW Challenge in the future.
Additionally, MINI Korea is also conducting unique customer-only events such as “MINI United” and “MINI Flea Market.” They plan to continue engaging with customers through diverse events and campaigns that showcase the individuality and charm of MINI.
