Unveiling the Rolls-Royce Ghost Prism: A Limited Edition Masterpiece

‘Ghost Prism Phoenix Red’

Rolls-Royce has unveiled the limited collection model ‘Ghost Prism,’ inspired by modern aesthetic features.

The Ghost Prism reflects the tastes, senses, and sensibilities of Rolls-Royce customers who have a significant impact in the global fashion, design, and luxury industries. It will be limited to 120 units worldwide, commemorating the 120th anniversary of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in 2024. The name ‘Ghost Prism’ was born from the inspiring contrast presented by the car’s solid shape and vibrant spectrum of colors.

The exterior of the Ghost Prism features a striking Gunmetal Grey color that highlights its rich mineral texture. By using an impeccably finished dark neutral base with intense accent colors, it captures the subtle beauty sought after in contemporary design while showcasing the timeless allure of the Ghost. To achieve the exterior finish, Rolls-Royce designers hand-applied four layers of paint through a meticulous 10-stage process, taking a total of 16 hours.

‘Ghost Prism Starlight Headliner’

Customers ordering the Ghost Prism can choose from four accent colors: Turchese, Mandarin, Forge Yellow, and Phoenix Red. These accent colors are applied to the lower bumper inserts, brake calipers, and side coachlines, highlighting the vehicle’s modern design and striking contrast.

Instead of the traditional stainless steel mirror polishing finish, the front Pantheon grill and trunk lid metal accents are coated in a combination of high-gloss dark black and gray Burnout colors. To achieve a flawless finish, Rolls-Royce artisans handcraft and assemble each metal accent. In keeping with the restrained aesthetics of the Ghost Prism, the front bumper and side metal accents are finished in Deep Gloss Black.

The subtly contrasting colors continue into the car’s interior. The cabin is finished in bright, vivid tones that contrast with the dignified exterior. The bespoke Starlight headliner in the ceiling is adorned with 1,040 ‘stars’ that softly illuminate the interior through the perforations in the leather canvas.

Anders Warming, Design Director at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, stated, “The Ghost Prism is a model that captures the tastes and sensibilities of Rolls-Royce customers who lead trends in the global fashion and luxury sectors. It embodies the aesthetic characteristics that contemporary design highlights while showcasing the special and intimate relationship between customers and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.”
