Audi Korea has announced the launch of the 2024 model of the ‘A5 Cabriolet 45 TFSI Quattro Premium’.
The ‘Audi A5’ is a mid-size sedan that boasts a sporty exterior design, elegant interior atmosphere, and innovative technology. The Audi Cabriolet model is expertly engineered to open its soft top and enables dynamic driving characteristic of its coupe model even while in motion. The 2024 ‘A5 Cabriolet 45 TFSI Quattro Premium’ is a refreshed version of the ‘A5 Cabriolet,’ now featuring solar-powered wireless toll collection and the Bang & Olufsen premium 3D sound system, providing an even more comfortable and enjoyable premium driving experience.
The ‘Audi A5 Cabriolet 45 TFSI Quattro Premium’ is fitted with a 4-cylinder gasoline direct-injection turbocharged engine and a 7-speed S tronic transmission, offering a powerful driving performance with maximum output of 265 horsepower and 37.7 kg.m of torque. Additionally, the quattro all-wheel drive system distributes power according to driving conditions, allowing for dynamic and efficient driving. Drivers can experience sportiness with the combination of the 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 6.0 seconds, with a top speed of 210 km/h (safety limit) and a fuel efficiency of 10.7 km/l on the combined consumption standard (9.5 km/l in the city and 12.5 km/l on the highway). The vehicle is also equipped with Drive Select, which optimizes driving based on road conditions and driver preferences.
The 2024 ‘Audi A5 Cabriolet 45 TFSI Quattro Premium’ showcases a sporty and elegant exterior with a 19-inch 5-arm cutter design wheel and aluminum windshield frame as part of the S line exterior package. The closed soft top perfectly harmonizes with the overall design of the Audi A5 Cabriolet. The soft top features excellent insulation and soundproofing, opening and closing within just 15 seconds at speeds of up to 50 km/h.
The interior features black headlining, a multifunction leather steering wheel with shift paddles and heating functions, gray natural oak inlays, and glossy black center console accents, complemented by leather inserts on the bottom of the center console and door armrests, creating a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere. Additionally, the front seats are leather sports seats with heating and ventilation functions, along with folding rear seats and door entry lights for added comfort.
The ‘Audi A5 Cabriolet 45 TFSI Quattro Premium’ is equipped with ‘Matrix LED headlights and LED taillights,’ which provide higher brightness than standard LEDs and feature closely arranged beams and dynamic turn signals, adjusting brightness for a wider field of visibility. A headlight washer that sprays water to deliver clearer visibility is also provided as standard, enhancing safety while driving.
For additional convenience and smarter driving, a solar-powered wireless toll collection system has been newly added. The head-up display (HUD) on the driver’s front windshield and the front/rear parking assist system, along with a 360° surround view camera and park assist, make it easier to monitor the vehicle’s driving information and navigation directions. The ‘Audi A5 Cabriolet 45 TFSI Quattro Premium’ reflects Audi’s high safety standards, considering the safety of drivers, passengers, and pedestrians. The active lane assist, a lane departure prevention system, helps manage steering inputs and adjustments. Additionally, Pre-sense City provides emergency warnings and automatically brakes if the driver fails to respond to imminent front-end hazards, equipped with side assist and front and side knee airbags for added safety.
With various features designed for an enjoyable driving experience, the ‘Audi A5 Cabriolet 45 TFSI Quattro Premium’ is equipped with a 12.3-inch screen virtual cockpit plus and a 10.1-inch touch display MMI system, allowing drivers to manage all vehicle information intuitively and integratively while also compatible with the Audi smartphone interface, enabling navigation, calls, and music control all from their smartphone.
Additionally, the new Bang & Olufsen premium 3D sound system (16 channels, 19 speakers, 755 watts) enhances the listening experience, allowing occupants to enjoy richer sounds even when driving with the top down.
The price of the ‘Audi A5 Cabriolet 45 TFSI Quattro Premium’ is 82.9 million won (including VAT).
Audi provides a basic warranty called ‘Audi Warranty’ for all Audi models sold through official dealers, covering a duration of 5 years or up to 150,000 km (whichever comes first). Notably, along with the basic complimentary consumable parts maintenance coupon provided to vehicle purchasers, from the 2024 model year, customers will receive the ‘Pickup and Delivery Service’ which can be reserved online or via phone for a total of 6 free trips in either direction over a period of 3 years for those who purchase the 2024 model.
Moreover, various notification services are operating to facilitate customers’ A/S service utilization, including a ‘Service Reminder’ that alerts customers before the expiration of the CSP or service extension package, and ‘Repair Progress Update’ that informs about the repair status of vehicles in service via text. Recently, Audi Korea introduced an ‘Audi Chatbot’ on its official website and MyAudiWorld app for 24/7 convenient consultation, continually striving to offer a more convenient and satisfying brand experience.
