Lotus Unveils Next-Gen Models at Pop-Up Event in Suwon

‘Lotus Starfield Pop-Up Showroom’

An opportunity to meet Lotus’ next-generation models has arrived in the Suwon region of Gyeonggi Province.

Lotus Motors Korea announced that it will hold a pop-up store event at ‘Starfield Suwon’, which has emerged as a new tourist attraction in the southern Gyeonggi region, from March 21 to 27.

This marks the second Starfield exhibition for Lotus Motors Korea, following the SSG DAY held last year at Starfield Hanam.

Opened at the end of January, Starfield Suwon (located at 175 Susong-ro, Jangan-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do) is a large complex shopping mall with a total floor area of 331,000 square meters, featuring a large F&B space, cinema, and the Byeolmang Library, as well as various experiential facilities. Its diverse pop-up spaces have attracted great attention, becoming a new hotspot for the MZ generation, with 330,000 visitors within three days of opening and 840,000 within ten days.

Starting from the 21st, Lotus Motors Korea plans to showcase two new models: the pure electric hyper SUV Eletre and the Emira, regarded as the brand’s last internal combustion mid-engine sports car, through the opening of the pop-up space, while securing a new customer base in the southern Gyeonggi region. Additionally, a variety of prizes will be awarded to visitors participating in an event to follow Lotus Motors Korea’s official SNS, including a Lotus Tomica, Café Noted voucher, grip talk, and a sticker/logo balloon set.

The Lotus Eletre is the next key player leading the brand’s transition to electrification. The Eletre S on display during this event features a dual motor all-wheel-drive system with a maximum output of 612 horsepower and a peak torque of 92.44 kg·m. Crafted with bold and daring design, this SUV boasts a firm stature of over 5.1 meters in length, decorated with luxurious materials like top-grade leather and exquisite metal accents, alongside state-of-the-art audio and operating systems that showcase the brand’s new identity.

The Lotus Emira is a lightweight two-door sports car known for the brand’s signature ‘superior handling’, and the model featured at this exhibit is the Emira V6 First Edition equipped with a V6 3.5L gasoline supercharged engine and an automatic transmission. This mid-engine rear-wheel-drive (MR) model seeks the joy of driving through Lotus’ motorsport DNA, and recent allocations of this model have sold out, indicating strong interest from domestic customers in Lotus.

A representative from Lotus Motors Korea stated, “We are very excited to present Lotus’ new models at Starfield Suwon, which is emerging as a new hotspot in the southern Gyeonggi region, and we hope visitors will take the time to experience the pure electric hyper SUV Eletre and the last internal combustion mid-engine sports car Emira during this pop-up store visit.”

Meanwhile, Kolon Mobility Group, which launched Lotus Motors Korea in May last year through an official partnership, is the only official importer of Lotus in Korea and handles exclusive distribution. Backed by the long history and expertise of Kolon Mobility Group in the premium automotive distribution sector, they are leading the comprehensive mobility business through structural reorganization and expansion and have launched a new brand called ‘702’, encompassing various mobility services.
