Lamborghini Celebrates Record-Breaking Year Amid 60th Anniversary

Automobili Lamborghini celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2023, achieving the highest financial results in its history, confirming the brand’s ongoing growth. Last year, Lamborghini surpassed 10,000 vehicle deliveries for the first time in its history (10,112 units), achieving a remarkable sales revenue of 2.66 billion euros (approximately 38.7 trillion won), a 12.1% increase compared to 2022.

Since 2017, its operating profit margin has continuously increased, reaching an all-time high of 27.2% last year. Through these remarkable achievements, Automobili Lamborghini reaffirmed its position as a global leader among supercar brands. Operating profit exceeded 700 million euros for the first time, recording 723 million euros (approximately 1.05 trillion won), a 17.8% increase over the previous year.

Additionally, last year, Lamborghini secured a two-year contract for its first V12 plug-in hybrid supercar (PHEV), the Revuelto, laying a solid foundation for the brand’s continued growth. This also includes orders for the V10 super sports car, the Huracán, and for the world’s first super SUV, the Urus, which will be replaced by a new hybrid powertrain in 2024.

Throughout the past year, Automobili Lamborghini achieved significant milestones in financial performance and sustainable growth to celebrate its 60th anniversary. Looking ahead, Lamborghini anticipates that 2024 will be a year of significant change and innovation. This year, Automobili Lamborghini will make a historic debut with its new hybrid race car, the SC63, in various high-end endurance races worldwide.

This means that our choices and vision were right and contributed to the organic growth of the company.” He added, “With an operating profit of 723 million euros and an operating profit margin of 27.2%, we can confirm our strategy was correct. We are preparing for the future with new and challenging goals for the coming years. In 2024, major innovations and challenges will include the launch of the new Urus plug-in hybrid model (PHEV) and the Huracán successor model, as well as the debut of the Automobili Lamborghini SC63 at the FIA World Endurance Championship. This symbolizes Lamborghini’s continuous efforts and growth in achieving new milestones.”
