KG Mobility is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a special event intended to relieve customers’ financial burden called ‘Lunar New Year Festival’, following a gold bar giveaway event.
Throughout February, customers who purchase models from the Rexton brand, including the Rexton and Rexton Sports & Khan, in cash will receive 500,000 KGM points. Additionally, with a Rexton purchase, customers can opt for either 2 million KGM points or free installation of a 4WD system. For the Sports & Khan, customers will receive either 2 million KGM points or free deck customization, while the Coolmen will come with 1 million KGM points.
Moreover, the Torres model will provide 500,000 KGM points, and for the Torres Van, individual and corporate buyers will receive 200,000 KGM points. The Tivoli and Tivoli Air, as well as the Korando, offer up to 500,000 KGM points, and for the Korando EV (taxi) scheduled to launch in June, customers who make a one-time purchase will receive a tire replacement voucher (one time).
Despite the high interest rates, customers will enjoy various financing benefits tailored to their circumstances, including interest-free installments and low-interest loans at 1%. Notably, down payment percentages can be reduced from 30-50% to 20-40% to enhance accessibility for buyers.
The purchase benefits vary by vehicle, with the Tivoli (including Tivoli Air) and Korando offering interest-free installments for 12 months with no down payment, as well as flexible installments ranging from 2% to 5% depending on a down payment (20%-40%) for 60 to 72 months.
The Torres and Torres Van also offer 12-month interest-free installments with no down payment along with 24 months of interest-free installments requiring a down payment of 40%. Customers can choose diverse installment programs that include a 1%-3% installment for 60 months, or 5% for 72 months without a down payment. The Torres EVX will continue to operate with 3.5%-5.5% financing for 60 months, depending on down payment (0%-50%).
The Rexton similarly offers 12-month interest-free installments with no down payment and 24-month interest-free installments with a 40% down payment. Installment terms also include 4%-5% for 60 months based on a down payment (20%-30%), or 5.9% for 72 months without a down payment.
The Rexton Sports & Khan (including Coolmen) also provides 12 months of interest-free installments with no down payment and 4%-5.9% for 60-72 months based on down payment (0%-30%).
Additionally, to express gratitude towards customers on the occasion of its 70th anniversary, KGM is holding the ‘1954 Heritage Gold Bar Giveaway Event’.
Until March, buyers of the Torres will enter a lottery with 195 winners being drawn, where each winner receives 10 don (37.5g/3.6 million won), and one customer who receives a quote for Torres will win 4 don (15g/1.44 million won), summing up to a total of 196 people receiving gold bars valued at approximately 700 million won (7,327.5g).
Furthermore, a loyalty program will continue to operate providing KGM points worth 100,000 to 200,000 depending on the number of vehicles repurchased.
KGM points can be used like cash at KG Mobility’s nationwide service network for various services including the exchange of consumables, engine oil changes, and accident repairs (excluding insurance), as well as for repurchasing new vehicles.
