Introducing the New Audi A7 55 TFSI e Quattro Premium: Redefining Luxury and Efficiency

‘Audi A7 PHEV’

Audi Korea has announced the launch of the updated 2024 model of the ‘New A7 55 TFSI e Quattro Premium’.

The ‘New A7 55 TFSI e Quattro Premium’, a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version of Audi’s premier 4-door coupe, combines excellent fuel efficiency with dynamic engine performance, enhanced by an intelligent drive system for more efficient driving. The new 2024 model is an upgraded version of the ‘New A7 55 TFSI e Quattro Premium’ released last July, featuring a new design singleframe, luxurious inlays and leather materials, along with added driver convenience features.

Equipped with a 2.0L 4-cylinder gasoline direct-injection turbocharged (TFSI) engine and an electric motor, the ‘New A7 55 TFSI e Quattro Premium’ delivers a combined output of 367 horsepower (252 horsepower from the engine and 142.76 horsepower from the electric motor) and a maximum combined torque of 51.0 kg.m (37.7 kg.m from the engine and 35.69 kg.m from the electric motor). The vehicle features a 7-speed S Tronic automatic transmission paired with quattro all-wheel drive for smooth shifting and enhanced safety. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds, with a top speed of 210 km/h (safety limit), and boasts a combined fuel efficiency of 15.7 km/l (14.6 km/l in the city, 17.2 km/l on the highway). When driven on electric power, the efficiency is rated at 3.0 km/kWh (2.9 km/kWh in the city, 3.2 km/kWh on the highway) with an electric driving range of 47 km (44 km in the city, 51 km on the highway) on a single charge.

The ‘New A7 55 TFSI e Quattro Premium’ offers three driving modes that can be set according to driving conditions. The first driving mode is EV mode, in which the vehicle runs purely on electric power, unless the driver accelerates past a detectable variable pressure point. This mode is set as the default whenever the vehicle is started.

The second driving mode is Battery Hold mode, which runs exclusively on the internal combustion engine without utilizing the electric motor. This mode requires the drive management system to maintain battery capacity at its current level, allowing the vehicle to use electric power for a predetermined distance later. The third mode is Hybrid mode, which interacts between the electric motor and the internal combustion engine to maximize the distance driven on electric power, thereby reducing overall fuel consumption for efficient driving.

The exterior of the ‘New A7 55 TFSI e Quattro Premium’ features a newly designed singleframe and comes standard with the S line exterior package and black package for an added dynamic and sporty character to the sophisticated and elegant body design.

Inside, the vehicle showcases natural volcanic gray inlays, black headlining, and an electric steering column that contributes to a more luxurious and refined interior ambiance. Additionally, it features 20-inch 5-double arm style wheels and a panoramic sunroof, showcasing Audi’s signature smooth and futuristic design. The front seats are equipped with Valcona comfort leather seats with memory function for relaxation and comfort, alongside door entry lights, ambient lighting (multi-color), and ceremonial functions to create a stylish impression while providing comfortable travel experiences.

The ‘HD Matrix LED headlights’ on the ‘New A7 55 TFSI e Quattro Premium’ provide brighter illumination compared to regular LEDs and are densely arranged for a wider visibility range, emphasizing Audi’s advanced design and elegance with integrated LED lights that visualize Audi’s laser light. The dynamic turn signals in the LED taillights can also adjust brightness for enhanced visibility and safety. Moreover, features such as acoustic glass with double-laminated soundproofing effectively block external noise, providing an adaptive windshield wiper that sprays water according to the wiper blade’s direction for clearer visibility, and headlight washers enhance driving safety and reduce driver fatigue.

A variety of standard safety and convenience systems are also noteworthy. The newly released ‘New A7 55 TFSI e Quattro Premium’ is equipped with two radar sensors mounted at the rear, which trigger a warning system when an object approaches quickly from behind or when there is a vehicle in the blind spot, causing the side mirror and door LED to flash while temporarily preventing the door from opening, helping to ensure passenger safety.

The driver’s front windshield features a head-up display that allows for easy monitoring of both driving information and the vehicle’s navigation direction. The adaptive cruise assist function alleviates the burden of long-distance driving for the driver while providing a comfortable ride for passengers. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with cutting-edge safety specifications such as front and rear parking assist, a surround view display, a 360° camera, Pre-Sense 360°, intersection assist, and side assist, enhancing the convenience of the driver and providing a progressive driving experience.

Equipped with Virtual Cockpit and dual touchscreen MMI Navigation Plus with MMI touch response, the ‘New A7 55 TFSI e Quattro Premium’ allows drivers to intuitively control all vehicle information in an integrated manner. Furthermore, the navigation system also supports the Audi smartphone interface to directly access content from approved smartphones via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enhancing convenience even further.

Additionally, the car comes with voice recognition voice control, Bang & Olufsen premium 3D sound system (15 channels, 16 speakers, 705 watts), wireless charging, and the popular Audi Music Interface (AMI), along with a premium air package that visualizes the air quality, ensuring a pleasant driving environment.

The price of the ‘New A7 55 TFSI e Quattro Premium’ is 102.8 million won (including VAT).

Audi provides a standard warranty for all Audi models sold through authorized dealers known as ‘Audi Warranty’, valid for 5 years or up to 150,000 km (whichever comes first). Customers purchasing 2024 Audi vehicles will receive a complimentary maintenance coupon through the Car Service Plus (CSP), which includes a total of six pick-up and delivery services over the course of three years, available for reservation online and via phone.

Additionally, services such as ‘Service Reminder’ notifying customers via text about the expiration of CSP and Extended Service Package (ESP) usage, and ‘Repair Progress Update’ messages keeping customers informed of their vehicle’s repair status, are provided to enhance customer satisfaction during A/S services.

Audi Korea plans to introduce an ‘Audi AI Chatbot’ for 24/7 customer service through the official website and My Audi World app, aiming to minimize inconveniences in the use of Audi vehicles and brand experience in 2024.
