Jeep has officially unveiled portions of its all-electric SUV model, the ‘Wagoneer S’, through social media.
The Wagoneer S is a premium battery electric vehicle (BEV) and a key model aimed at expanding Jeep’s legendary SUV lineup. It is set to launch in U.S. markets this fall, with plans to roll out to major global markets thereafter.
The Wagoneer S boasts the 4xe performance capable of conquering any terrain, along with Jeep’s signature advanced technology and impressive driving performance. It delivers up to 600 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds. The sleek exterior design takes aerodynamics into account, and for the first time in its class, the iconic seven-slot grille features LED lighting.
Meanwhile, the launch of the Wagoneer S forms part of Jeep’s global electrification strategy, replacing the traditional 4×4 with the 4xe, thus realizing the Jeep brand’s vision of ‘Zero Emission Freedom’. This Zero Emission Freedom is a core element of the Stellantis Group’s long-term sustainability strategy, ‘Dare Forward 2030’, which actively promotes carbon neutrality goals.
