Harman International Korea is hosting a GV80 Sound Talk event on the 25th (Thursday) at the Car Club Erevo in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, Seoul for automotive and music enthusiasts, showcasing the Bang & Olufsen car audio sound system.
The GV80 Sound Talk, led by Harman Korea’s Acoustic System Engineering (ASE) team leader, So-Yeon Moon, and Erevo’s producer, Song-Eun Kim, will cover the high-end audio Bang & Olufsen sound system newly installed in the GV80 and GV80 Coupe, as well as Harman’s Acoustic Sound Engineering (ASE). Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the Bang & Olufsen car audio sound system in a GV80 vehicle, guided by experts from Harman Korea’s ASE team.
The outdoor area of Erevo will feature a GV80 Sound Experience Zone where participants can experience the Bang & Olufsen car audio system, while the indoor space includes a brand experience zone showcasing the Bang & Olufsen speaker grill designs, as well as a Beosonic™ sound technology experience zone that allows sound customization with just a touch of a finger.

The Bang & Olufsen car audio sound system is available as an optional feature in the recently released luxury SUV GV80 and GV80 Coupe models, following its introduction in the Genesis GV60 and G90.

The Genesis Bang & Olufsen car audio sound system is the first in the automotive industry to receive Hi-Res Audio certification, which involves rigorous testing and validation of sound recording, playback, and signal processing to ensure outstanding audio performance.
Combining with Harman’s noise control solution, HALOsonic technology, Hyundai and Harman jointly developed active road noise control technology ANC-R (Active Noise Control-Road). This technology eliminates unwanted road noise from entering the vehicle, enhancing the overall in-car sound experience for drivers and passengers.
Additionally, Harman’s proprietary surround sound patent technology creates sophisticated multi-channel sound stages by identifying and reconstructing each sound source rather than merely dispersing audio throughout the cabin.
