Lotte Rent-a-Car is offering warm canned coffee to short-term rental customers in celebration of the winter season.
This promotion is running for three months, from December 1 to February 29, 2024, at all branches nationwide, including Jeju. It is expected to help prevent drowsy driving during long-distance winter travel. More details about the promotion can be found on the official Lotte Rent-a-Car website or app.
In addition, to further support customers’ safe driving during winter, Lotte Rent-a-Car is offering free snow chain rentals. If there is a forecast for snow or heavy snowfall, customers can request snow chains when renting their vehicle.
To enhance convenience for short-term rental customers, Lotte Rent-a-Car has expanded its operation of ‘Smart Key Boxes’ at 59 locations nationwide, allowing for 24-hour contactless vehicle pickup and return.
This service enables customers to pick up vehicle keys from installed ‘Smart Key Boxes’ at Lotte Rent-a-Car locations after making an online reservation and return the rental car as well. There is also a ‘Delivery Service’ that allows customers to rent and return vehicles at their desired locations, saving travel time to the rental office. Both services can be easily requested through the Lotte Rent-a-Car app or website. Canned coffee will be pre-prepared and provided in the vehicle.
Gum-seok Koo, head of Lotte Rental’s short-term rental division, stated, “In line with the increasing trend of customers using rental cars for winter travel, we prepared this promotion to encourage safe driving and help prevent drowsy driving,” adding, “We will continue to support our customers’ safe car life through our 24-hour call center (1588-1230) and complimentary snow chain rentals.”
