Sales increased due to new vehicle launches. In November, the domestic car market saw a surge in sales. The sales figures for five domestic brands reached 132,321 units, a significant 12.7% increase compared to 117,306 units in the previous month. Kia’s Sorento claimed its position as a national favorite, achieving this for three consecutive months.
Hyundai sold 61,169 units, up 7.8% from 56,732 units in the previous month. The best-selling model was the Porter, with 9,255 units sold, a 7.9% increase from 8,578 units month-on-month. The Santa Fe saw sales rise to 8,780 units, up 5.4% from 8,331 units. The Grandeur sold 7,980 units, reflecting a 2.6% decrease.
Genesis recorded sales of 10,889 units, a remarkable 43.4% increase from 7,596 units in the previous month. The newly launched GV80 model sold 3,874 units, reflecting a staggering 337% increase from 885 units last month, signaling a strong debut. The G80 saw sales rise to 3,023 units, up 53.5% from 1,969 units month-on-month. The GV70 recorded 2,910 units, down 21.5% from 3,707 units in the previous month.
Kia achieved sales of 50,322 units, a 16.3% increase compared to 43,254 units in the prior month. The Sorento reached 9,364 units, a 6.8% lift from 8,777 units, marking three consecutive months of impressive sales. The Sportage accumulated sales of 5,982 units, up 27.1% from 4,707 units. The Carnival, which underwent a product enhancement, showed significant growth with sales of 5,857 units, reflecting an increase of 48.9% from the previous month’s 3,933 units.
KG Mobility sold 5,050 units, representing a 32.8% increase from the previous month’s 3,804 units. The Torres EVX accounted for 1,667 units, marking its official market launch. However, the traditional Torres saw sales dip to 1,546 units, a 5% decrease from 1,628 units last month.
General Motors recorded sales of 3,016 units, reflecting a 32.5% decline from 4,469 units in the previous month. The Trax sold 2,306 units, down 24% from 3,043 units last month. The Trailblazer saw 425 units sold, a drop of 14.3% from 496 units in the prior month.
Renault posted sales of 1,875 units, a 29.2% increase from the previous month’s 1,451. The QM6 sold 1,034 units, a rise of 31.4% from 787 units. The XM3 saw 694 units sold, up 34% from 518 units the previous month.
