Renault Korea is conducting a ‘Special Winter Maintenance Discount Campaign’ for all vehicles until January of next year.
During this special maintenance discount campaign, customers who are members of the MY Renault Korea app and visit one of the 400 Renault Korea service networks nationwide can replace their batteries at a 15% discounted price (excluding labor costs). General customers will receive a 10% discount. The campaign covers a range of batteries, from factory-installed (OE) to upgraded EFB and AGM batteries.
Additionally, customers who sign up for the MY Renault Korea app during the campaign will receive a maintenance discount coupon worth 20,000 won, which can be used upon restocking.
Car batteries are sensitive to temperature, and their performance can degrade significantly in the low temperatures of winter. This is one reason why vehicle discharges occur more frequently during the winter months. To prevent battery discharge, it is recommended to start the vehicle occasionally to charge the battery, park it indoors, or use a warming cover to protect the battery under the hood.
Jin-Gyu Kang, Director of After-Sales at Renault Korea, emphasized, “With an increase in electrical accessories that customers are installing, such as dash cams, the cases of battery discharges are also increasing. If you are experiencing difficulty starting your vehicle or issues with battery discharges, we recommend replacing the battery for safe winter driving.
