Experience the Future of Mobility: Kia Partners with SOCAR for Easy Access to the Ray EV

Kia collaborates with SOCAR to make it easier for customers to experience the Ray EV.

Kia and SOCAR have established vehicle sharing services by placing the ‘Kia Ray EV’ (hereafter Ray EV) at SOCAR’s rental stations across the country.

The Ray EV is Kia’s urban entry-level electric vehicle that, along with excellent product quality, is loved by many customers thanks to various tax benefits such as value-added tax refunds for business operators.

In this service, the 4-passenger Air trim of the Ray EV will be operated. The Air trim is notable for its advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), full folding driver’s seat, and ventilated driver’s seat, among other features.

The operating model includes the optional Drive Wise II, allowing customers to experience a variety of safety features such as side collision prevention assistance, rear cross-traffic collision prevention assistance, and safe exit warning.

Customers wishing to use the service can rent directly from the SOCAR zone using the SOCAR application or request a vehicle to their desired location through the call service and complete the payment.

To celebrate the introduction of the Ray EV into the SOCAR rental fleet, Kia is offering a ‘5-hour free test drive coupon’ to the first 1,000 SOCAR customers. The coupon can be downloaded from the Ray EV event page on the SOCAR application, and more details can be found within the SOCAR app.

Additionally, customers who use the 5-hour free test drive coupon and participate in the Ray EV test drive experience survey will receive a coffee exchange voucher (100% guaranteed).

A Kia representative stated, “We hope many customers will take advantage of SOCAR, which allows them to use the Ray EV without limitations on time and place, and experience the product qualities that transcend its class. We plan to create various services so that customers can experience Kia’s electric vehicles without any burden in the future.”
