Porsche Unveils ‘Taycan Art Piece Collection’ in Collaboration with Creative Fashion Brand Junji

Porsche Korea has unveiled the ‘Taycan Art Piece Collection’ in collaboration with global fashion brand Junji, part of Samsung C&T’s fashion division. The Taycan Turbo S will be exhibited along with this collection at the Junji Doosan flagship store until the 19th.

This collaboration with Junji marks the ’75th anniversary of Porsche sports cars’ and is part of a project celebrating ‘Dream in Full Color’. The initiative aims to provide inspiration through the stories of domestic designers who have made their dreams come true in the global fashion industry.

Holger Geermann, the CEO of Porsche Korea, stated, “Through this Taycan Art Piece Collection reinterpreted by Junji’s Creative Director Jae-wook Jun, we once again felt the endless possibilities that art and creativity offer. We plan to actively support diverse cultural and artistic fields to provide motivation to domestic artists.”

The Taycan Art Piece, inspired by the crayon colors of Porsche’s first electric sports car, includes a total of six pieces: a biker jacket/vest, jumpsuits, helmet bags, and riding shoes.

Each art piece features details reminiscent of the Taycan. The pattern of the biker jacket reflects the sleek silhouette that stands out in the Taycan’s exterior, while the jumpsuit showcases Porsche’s motorsport identity blended with Junji’s modern and luxurious sensibility.

Going forward, Porsche Korea plans to continue expanding its collaboration with the global fashion brand Junji.

Choi Young-hwan, Executive Director of Marketing at Porsche Korea, said, “Porsche Korea wanted to collaborate with the representative Korean fashion designer, Jae-wook Jun, who realizes dreams, to inspire emerging artists. We hope this collaboration provides a special experience for domestic Porsche fans and fashion artists who truly understand the value of dreams.”

Meanwhile, Porsche Korea is a brand based on dreams and has been conducting various support and collaborations with domestic and international artists under the concept ‘Dream in Full Color’. Since April this year, they have supported emerging artists through the Zoom-in Special Exhibition at the Gallery Art Fair, collaborated with global art fairs such as Kiaf Seoul, and executed public art exhibitions like ‘Dream Big’ in collaboration with graphic artist Chris Labruy.
