Maserati unveiled its first limited-edition model of the MC20, the ‘MC20 Notte’, on the 8th of November (local time). The MC20 Notte Edition is a limited model that celebrates the bold spirit that has continuously developed Maserati since the day it first entered the most legendary races in history.
The MC20, which combines sportiness and luxury, now takes on a closer racing spirit with the Notte Edition. Limited to just 50 units worldwide, the Notte Edition reflects a design inspired by the mysterious and intense power of darkness. MC20 Notte is as captivating as a beast howling in the dark, further showcasing the performance of the already exceptional V6 Nettuno engine.
Maserati’s Fuoriserie team, drawing inspiration from the alluring world of racing, collaborated with Andrea Bertolini to design the MC20 Notte’s body. Andrea Bertolini is the reference driver for Maserati and the former GT1 world champion.
The result is a striking exterior of the MC20 Notte that transforms from a glossy black shade into a matte ‘Nero Essenza’ tone that shines in the dark. Thanks to Bertolini’s ‘Midas touch,’ details such as the trident, side logos, and Maserati signature have transitioned from silver to matte white gold, resurrecting Maserati’s glorious motorsport history.
The 20-inch matte black birdcage wheels of the MC20 Notte have been accented with matte white gold, while the brake calipers are black. Inside, black/gray Alcantara six-way power sports seats stand out with yellow stitching.
The headrests feature the trident logo, a symbol of Maserati, and the Alcantara sports steering wheel includes carbon fiber inserts. Between the two headrests lies a dedicated metal plate commemorating the MC20 Notte Edition with the unique signature ‘UNA DI 50’ (one of 50).
Klaus Busse, Maserati’s head of design, stated, “’Fuoriserie’ means ‘custom made’ in Italian, and Maserati’s trident customization program has been designed to create unique moving works of art for clients.
The MC20 Notte is a model that combines top performance with Italian elegance, celebrating the thrill of racing and the allure of the night. It is the first Fuoriserie limited edition model of the MC20, designed for super sports car collectors and track enthusiasts,” he added.
To commemorate the launch of the Maserati MC20 Notte Edition, an enticing short film featuring global brand ambassador and MC20 enthusiast David Beckham alongside Andrea Bertolini has been released. In the film, Beckham’s dazzling MC20 transforms into a new racing entity, blazing across the city and racetrack throughout the night.
Meanwhile, Maserati held a preview exclusively for Trident members before launching the MC20 Notte globally.
