On the 23rd, Volvo Trucks Korea held a delivery ceremony for 22 units of the Volvo FH16 750 tractor at the Pyeongtaek General Delivery Center. To respond to the continuous demand for the FH16 750 model from domestic customers, Volvo Trucks Korea plans to deliver these 22 units sequentially by the end of this year.
In the domestic market, there are approximately 400 vehicles in the GCW over 40 tons category, primarily used for transporting high-load goods such as construction, shipping, and power generation equipment. This indicates the significant impact of selling 22 units at the same time.
When selecting vehicles in the heavy goods transport market, the primary criteria are the product’s powerful capability and stable quality. The simultaneous delivery of these 22 FH16 750 tractors reaffirms that Volvo Trucks’ performance and quality are highly recognized in the market.
The FH16 750 model being delivered holds the title of the world’s most powerful truck, symbolizing Volvo Trucks. The Volvo FH model, known for its unique exterior and interior design, excellent ride comfort and driving performance, and advanced safety systems, has been sold in about 1.4 million units across 80 countries worldwide, marking a sales record while celebrating its 30th anniversary this past April.
The specifications include a Euro 6 16-liter engine producing up to 750 horsepower and a maximum torque of 362 kgf, equipped with an I-Shift crawler gear that enhances performance for transporting heavy loads or operating in rough terrains.
In addition, the full safety package, a safety specification from Volvo, is standard, reflecting the values pursued by the Volvo Group, which prioritizes safety, meeting the high level of expertise of domestic customers.
