Experience Electrifying Performance: Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 N Owners Day

Hyundai Motors held the ‘Ioniq 5 N Owners Day’ event, a customer experience program designed to enjoy high-performance electric vehicles in a safer and more enjoyable manner.

The Ioniq 5 N Owners Day aims to help customers unfamiliar with driving high-performance electric cars fully appreciate the excellent performance of the Ioniq 5 N through various driving experience programs, thereby building an EV high-performance ecosystem in a circuit environment while fulfilling social responsibility.

From November 25 (Saturday) to 26 (Sunday), the event took place at Inje Speedium for customers who own or have reserved an Ioniq 5 N, beginning with driving theory and safety training. Participants had the opportunity to experience the joy and safety of driving while utilizing the Ioniq 5 N’s specialized features in response to simulated track situations.

The event was conducted in a driving academy format, allowing participants to experience the various functionalities of high-performance electric vehicles with dedicated professional instructors assigned to each group.

Among the activities that allowed customer participation were the ▲ N Drift Optimizer, where they could learn about the dangers of oversteering and safe countermeasures; the ▲ N Drag Race, where they could experience the high-performance capabilities of the Ioniq 5 N, which can reach 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds using the ‘N Green Boost’; the ▲ N Gymkhana, which helps improve driving agility by passing through various obstacles; and the N Pedal Experience, which aids sharp cornering through regenerative braking.

Additionally, programs like the ▲ Time Trial and ▲ Ioniq 5 N Circuit Taxi were available for participants to indirectly experience the outstanding driving performance of the Ioniq 5 N alongside experts.

Alongside the Ioniq 5 N Owners Day, Hyundai also opened a specialized fast-charging station for the N brand on the 25th.

The specialized fast-charging station for the N brand was established to allow Hyundai electric vehicle owners to enjoy the track without worrying about charging. It was designed to accommodate simultaneous charging of up to ten vehicles at 200 kW at the Inje Speedium.

Hyundai plans to offer free usage of the fast-charging station for Ioniq 5 N customers until 2028, while providing a 25% discount for Hyundai electric vehicle users.

A Hyundai representative stated, “This event was held to provide an opportunity for safe and enjoyable driving of the Ioniq 5 N, the first high-performance electric vehicle from the N brand,” and added, “Hyundai will continue to invest and develop in the high-performance electrification ecosystem, enabling customers to experience the joy of driving safely and conveniently, starting with the specialized fast-charging stations for the N brand.”
