Honda Korea is holding online pre-orders for the ‘All-New Accord’ from the 4th to the 16th of this month.
The ‘Accord’ is Honda’s flagship midsize sedan, recognized as a bestselling model in the North American market, built on nearly 50 years of heritage. It has been evaluated as the benchmark sedan in South Korea, renowned for its design, performance, and safety. The 11th generation complete redesign has already prepped a sophisticated and luxurious design along with dynamic performance.
The All-New Accord will be available in two trims: the ‘Hybrid Touring’ model and the gasoline ‘Turbo’ model. Pre-orders can be made via Honda’s online platform, and customers who pre-order will receive special benefits including installation credits for three accessories (black box, Hi-pass, window tinting) along with a four-year, 40,000 km regular check-up coupon.
Compared to the previous generation, the All-New Accord showcases a longer body and adopts a sleek fastback style, presenting an overwhelming presence reminiscent of large sedans. The design with black color accents creates a modern and upscale atmosphere, while the tail lamps feature a sleek linear shape that emphasizes a wide design.
In terms of powertrain, the Hybrid Touring is equipped with a fourth-generation dual-motor hybrid system that enhances dynamic performance. Featuring a newly developed 2.0L direct injection Atkinson engine paired with e-CVT, it delivers excellent environmental performance and refined driving experience, along with improved acceleration for a more comfortable driving experience. The gasoline Turbo model is enhanced with an upgraded 1.5L direct-injection VTEC turbo engine and a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The advanced driver assistance system, Honda Sensing, has also undergone significant enhancements, achieving TSP+ (Top Safety Pick+) from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in the United States, acknowledging its top-tier safety standards within its category.
The pricing for the All-New Accord is set at 53.4 million KRW (including VAT) for the hybrid touring model and 43.9 million KRW (including VAT) for the turbo model.
