Aston Martin is set to host its very first Aston Martin Arcadia event from November 17 (Friday) to 19 (Sunday) in Japan. This event is designed to gather Aston Martin owners from the Asia-Pacific region and will be held regularly every six months.

This year marks the 110th anniversary of Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford officially forming a partnership and producing the first Aston Martin car. Over the past century, Aston Martin has created ultra-luxury high-performance sports cars, applied cutting-edge innovative technologies, and showcased thrilling racing competitions.

To commemorate this significant 110th anniversary, the Aston Martin Arcadia will feature a display of 110 of the rarest and most valuable Aston Martin vehicles from around the world. This includes limited-edition sports cars from Aston Martin’s headquarters in Gaydon, England, as well as collections held by passionate Aston Martin owners in the Asia-Pacific region.

The event will take place in Tokyo, with the Concours d’Elegance of the 110 Aston Martins held at the Kiryuzan Sensoji Temple. The Kiryuzan Sensoji Temple is the oldest place of worship in Tokyo, with a rich history dating back to 628 AD. This event will make Aston Martin the first-ever automobile brand to have the opportunity to exhibit at this historic venue.

In addition to the Concours d’Elegance, several events will take place during the event period, including a gala dinner, a charity auction, and dynamic track racing at Fuji Speedway. To honor the legendary names within Aston Martin, this event has been named Arcadia, which in ancient Greek means paradise.

Gregory Adams, Aston Martin’s Asia Regional Head, expressed, “We are extremely proud to host the first Aston Martin Arcadia event in Japan to celebrate our 110th anniversary. This event will feature models such as the Valhalla, offering a special three-day experience for our guests that provides a glimpse into Aston Martin’s past, present, and future.”

The lineup of 110 iconic automobiles exemplifies Aston Martin’s passion for outstanding performance, technology, craftsmanship, and design. “We look forward to warmly welcoming Aston Martin owners, fans, and members of the community during this event,” Adams stated.

From the first day, November 17 (Friday) to the morning of November 18 (Saturday), a Concours d’Elegance will take place at the Kiryuzan Sensoji Temple, showcasing the most acclaimed models from Aston Martin’s history of over 100 years. The vehicle lineup includes everything from heritage models to the latest ultra-luxury high-performance models.

This includes the Valhalla, the first mid-engine hybrid car, a replica of this year’s Aston Martin F1 car, the open-top DBR22, and James Bond’s DB5 from the film ‘007 Goldfinger.’

Participants in the Concours d’Elegance will be evaluated by judges from Japan and the UK based on criteria including elegance and beauty. The two-day event will be open to the public, providing an opportunity to admire Aston Martin’s finest sports cars, culminating in an awards ceremony on the morning of the 18th. Following the ceremony, a parade of owners is scheduled to take place nearby.

The second day, November 18, will feature a gala dinner and charity auction at the Fuji Speedway Hotel, attended by a limited number of Aston Martin owners from the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan.

The final day, November 19 (Sunday), will host the Fuji Speedway Track Day, set to be the largest gathering of Aston Martins in the Asia-Pacific region to date. The event will kick off with a grid walk followed by driving sessions categorized by model and type. An exhibition of vintage models is also planned in the pit lane.
