Revealing the Exclusive Bentley Continental GT ‘Korea Limited Edition’

Bentley Motors Korea has unveiled the design of the Continental GT ‘Korea Limited Edition’, a special model limited to just 10 units, made in collaboration with artists for the first time in Korea.

The Korea Limited Edition project was conceived to introduce the boundless possibilities of Mulliner bespoke to artistic-minded Korean customers and to showcase a new dimension of luxury that bridges tradition and modernity through the partnership of Korean contemporary art and Bentley.

The first-ever Korea Limited Edition was crafted in collaboration with abstract painter Hah Tae-im. Bentley Motors Korea determined that the values and philosophy of the Bentley brand harmonize with Hah Tae-im’s artistic universe, selecting her as the artist for this limited edition. The signature color bands used in Hah’s artwork have been reproduced throughout the interior, reflecting the personality and aesthetics of the Korea Limited Edition.

One of the most significant features of the Korea Limited Edition is the incorporation of colors from the artwork into the vehicle’s design.

Five accent colors extracted from the color band of the main theme artwork—Rich, Arctic Blue, Hyperactive, Linen, and Tanzanite Purple—are applied to the body kit color strips, seat stitching and piping, as well as the color band painting of the bullseye air vents, creating a unique presence.

The exterior colors of the Korea Limited Edition include pure white ‘Ice’ and a deep black called ‘Black Crystal’. These colors were selected to highlight the refined atmosphere and the iconic beauty and body lines unique to the Continental GT.

Areas such as the vertical radiator grille, the molding around the headlamps and taillamps, and the side molding are adorned in black high-gloss colors, enhancing charisma. Additionally, the black 22-inch 10-spoke wheels feature the Mulliner option ‘Self-Leveling Wheel Badge’, which maintains the Bentley emblem in a horizontal position while driving, maximizing the sense of luxury.

Moreover, the Korea Limited Edition comes with a special carbon body kit ‘Styling Specification’ handcrafted by Bentley artisans, enhancing the exterior with added color accent strips.

The interior features a luxurious quilted seat in bright white, combined with piano Mulliner white and grand black dual veneers, showcasing pure sculptural beauty and elegance. The dashboard and door tread plates are engraved with signature color bands, and the headrests feature precise color band embroidery, enhancing the aesthetic completeness. The colored engraved door tread plates are a first for Bentley.

A highlight of the design is the color band painting applied to the unique diamond knurling bullseye air vents of the Continental GT. The painted metal rim of the bullseye air vents represents a bespoke specification implemented for the first time in Bentley’s history; special processing was carried out to preserve the detail and color of the diamond knurling while ensuring durability in frequently touched areas.

The Korea Limited Edition features two exterior colors and five accent colors, with each of the 10 vehicles boasting a unique combination that is truly one-of-a-kind. Customers who purchase the Korea Limited Edition will be offered various benefits, including a tour of the Bentley Crewe dream factory where their vehicle is built, a special painting by Hah Tae-im, and exclusive membership services.

The foundation of this Korea Limited Edition is the Continental GT, an iconic grand tourer that combines distinctive luxury and dynamism. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year since its debut in 2003, it stands as Bentley’s flagship model. It comes equipped with a powerful 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine generating 550 horsepower and an electronic active roll control system called ‘Bentley Dynamic Ride’, among other advanced specifications.

Bentley Continental GT Korea Limited Edition is currently open for customer orders, and deliveries to domestic customers are expected to begin in early 2024.
