Mercedes-Benz Korea unveiled the special limited edition model ‘Mercedes-Maybach S 680 4MATIC Haute Couture Edition’, inspired by haute couture, on the 28th at the Seoul Wave Art Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul. This marks its first reveal in South Korea.
The ‘Mercedes-Maybach S 680 4MATIC Haute Couture Edition’ reflects the spirit of Mercedes-Maybach that seeks ‘high-level luxury’ while embodying inspiration from high-end fashion design, resembling a ‘moving piece of art’. Only 150 units are produced worldwide, with 20 available in South Korea.
This limited edition is crafted by the most specialized customization and craftsmanship team at the Mercedes-Benz factory in Sindelfingen. It incorporates luxurious two-tone colors, high-quality materials, and intricate details into the top-of-the-line flagship sedan, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. Alongside, it includes a first-class-like executive seat, a Burmester High-End 4D Surround Sound System that offers a four-dimensional audio experience through 31 speakers and 8 exciters, and a rear center console equipped with champagne glasses and a refrigerator to deliver an unparalleled luxury experience.

The exterior of the Haute Couture Edition showcases a unique two-tone color combination of Nautic Blue and Light Rose Gold, enhancing luxury and distinction. The 20-inch Maybach 5-hole forged wheels finished in the same Nautic Blue color further emphasize the distinctive luxury of the Haute Couture Edition.
Moreover, high-quality bouclé fabric in a color scheme of blue, beige, rose gold, and gold, inspired by fashion, is applied throughout the interior—including seat covers and door trims. The crystal white color applied to the seats, armrests, lower dashboard, steering wheel, and roof lining contrasts with the deep blue of the upper dashboard and console, creating a sophisticated and modern atmosphere. Additionally, plush high-pile floor mats made from linen and mohair add to the overall comfort.
Light gray-colored leather with a tri-star pattern is applied to the lower dashboard, doors, headrests, and headliners, showcasing delicate craftsmanship. Furthermore, rose gold accents on the champagne glasses, door panels, dashboard, and center console elevate the overall elegance of the interior space.
The center console of this Haute Couture Edition series is adorned with a limited-edition badge featuring a unique number, adding exclusivity and rarity. A custom gift box containing the badge number, a model car, a keychain, and a special vehicle cover displaying both the Maybach and Haute Couture logos will also be included.
The rear seat of the Haute Couture Edition comes standard with a fixed center console designed for relaxation and convenience in work settings. This first-class rear seat configuration includes wireless smartphone charging, temperature-controlled double cup holders, high-quality leather foldable tables, and a refrigerator capable of storing rose gold champagne glasses and bottles.
Additionally, features like headrests with built-in neck and shoulder heating, a rear seat comfort door to easily open and close the rear doors even on slopes, a sun protection package for passenger comfort, and an MBUX high-end rear seat entertainment system with two 11.6-inch full HD touch screens and a 7-inch tablet are provided for an optimized chauffeur-driven experience.
Equipped with 31 speakers and a Burmester® high-end 4D surround sound system delivering 1,750W of output along with Dolby Atmos sound technology, the car promises an extraordinary auditory experience. The Burmester® high-end 4D surround sound system enhances the music with spatiality, clarity, and depth, providing a concert-like sound experience, while the exciter features at each seat vibrate in rhythm with the music for an extraordinary 4D audio experience.
The Haute Couture Edition delivers powerful performance through a combination of a V12 gasoline engine (M279) and a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, offering a maximum output of 630 horsepower and maximum torque of 91.7 kg.m. The Airmatic suspension, with its adaptive damping system, individually controls each wheel to ensure exceptional ride comfort and stability under any road conditions. The IR laminated glass helps reduce external noise and infrared radiation, while low noise tires contribute to a more pleasant indoor environment.
Moreover, the rear axle steering, which reaches a maximum steering angle of 4.5 degrees, enhances stability at high speeds while improving agility at low speeds. Mercedes-Benz’s latest driving assistance system, Driving Assistance Package Plus, along with MBUX augmented reality navigation and augmented reality head-up display, are also standard features for a safer and more convenient driving experience.
