Revamped Renault Experience: Discover the Enhanced Value of QM6 and XM3

Renault Korea has elevated the value of key volume models such as the QM6 and XM3 1.6 GTe through its September launch of the updated ‘Value up’ as part of the Renault Experience. Additionally, aggressive sales conditions for September have been disclosed, signaling a strong pushback in the domestic market.

The QM6, a steady seller mid-size SUV known for its high reliability, comfort, and stability, has undergone significant reorganization of its trims focusing on consumer preference in line with the Value up initiative. While maintaining the new exterior design and upgraded convenience features introduced in March’s facelift, additional pricing benefits have been added to maximize cost-effectiveness. As a result, the pricing drop for each trim reaches up to 2 million KRW.

The newly conceptualized 2-seater SUV QM6 QUEST has refined its trim names to reflect their intended use more clearly, now categorized as Van, Business, and Adventure instead of the previous SE, LE, RE model names used for passenger vehicles.

The new prices following the Value up for the QM6 are as follows: LPG model 2.0 LPe – ▲LE 28.4 million KRW (↓910,000 KRW), ▲RE 31.7 million KRW (↓1.95 million KRW), ▲Premier 36.7 million KRW (↓1.23 million KRW); Gasoline model 2.0 GDe – ▲LE 28.4 million KRW (↓410,000 KRW), ▲RE 31.7 million KRW (↓1.44 million KRW), ▲Premier 36.7 million KRW (↓720,000 KRW). The QUEST variant prices are: ▲Van 24.95 million KRW (↓1.85 million KRW), ▲Business 26.9 million KRW (↓1.2 million KRW), ▲Adventure 30.2 million KRW (↓2 million KRW).

For the coupe-style SUV, the XM3 1.6 GTe, which accounts for more than half of domestic sales, has introduced a new INSPIRE trim coinciding with the release of the 2024 model. The XM3 1.6 GTe INSPIRE features a standard Signature Plus Package worth 2.9 million KRW, which includes EASY CONNECT 9.3” navigation, Multi-sense, ambient lighting, black leather power seats, front ventilated seats, and rear heated seats. The price is set at 26.8 million KRW, which reflects an increase of 2.32 million KRW over the XM3 1.6 GTe RE.

The XM3 E-TECH hybrid model now includes a new E-TECH design package with electric gold color points, previously available in the top-tier E-TECH engineered trim of the Renault Arkana, enhancing the XM3’s exterior appeal.

In light of the upcoming Chuseok holiday, Renault Korea has also unveiled generous sales conditions for existing models, including discounts of up to 3.4 million KRW on the SM6 TCe 300 and up to 3.1 million KRW on the QM6 LPG model.

During Chuseok, Renault Korea is continuing its expanded family range for the repurchase discount on all vehicle purchases, providing benefits ranging from 200,000 KRW up to 1 million KRW in September. Originally limited to customers and their spouses, the repurchase benefits have now expanded to include parents, parents-in-law, children, and children’s spouses.

In addition to the expanded repurchase options, the September sales benefits apply to models prior to the Value up initiative.

The existing 2024 QM6 LPG models offer a maximum special discount of 1.7 million KRW depending on the trim, with an additional 1.2 million KRW discount for special promotional vehicles at nationwide dealerships, offering a maximum benefit of 3.1 million KRW for one repurchase.

The XM3 also includes a maximum discount of 1.2 million KRW for special promotional vehicles at nationwide dealerships, while the E-TECH hybrid model introduces an additional 500,000 KRW special discount. Thus, the XM3 E-TECH hybrid offers a maximum discount of 1.9 million KRW for one repurchase.

For the SM6, the special promotional benefits at nationwide dealerships for the TCe 260 is up to 1.2 million KRW, and for the TCe 300, it is up to 1.7 million KRW. Notably, the SM6 TCe 300 includes an additional special discount of 1.5 million KRW, leading to a maximum discount of 3.4 million KRW for one repurchase.

Meanwhile, Renault Korea plans to allow customers to experience improved products and services through the Renault Experience Value up until October 9 by conducting the ‘Renault City Roadshow’ in five cities across the country including Seoul, Gwangju, Daejeon, Gyeonggi, and Busan. Customers visiting the Renault City Roadshow can participate in various programs including test drives of all Renault models, experiences of the newly implemented smartwatch app, and purchase consultations through prior registration or on-site application.
