KG Mobility has released a teaser video for its fully electric SUV, the ‘Torres EVX’, which will be launched through an ‘online showcase’ on the 20th.
The Torres EVX, unveiled at the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show, is the highly anticipated mid-size electric SUV set to hit the market in the second half of this year. It marks the first electrified model from KG Mobility (following its name change), inheriting the unique Torres DNA.
The teaser video, released prior to the launch, previews the key features of the Torres EVX, organized into SAFETY Class, BATTERY Class, SPACE Class, and PRICE Class, showcasing what makes it a standout EV and explaining its premier class status.
The exceptional class of the Torres EVX is evident in its SAFETY Class. It incorporates four BSD (Blind Spot Detection) sensors to prevent accidents caused by blind spots. This includes support for cross-vehicle response, intersection vehicle response, and assistance for steering during evasive maneuvers.
The BATTERY Class features next-generation LFP blade batteries with a cell-to-pack design, allowing for more efficient charging per unit area while enhancing safety.
In the SPACE Class, the Torres EVX stands out with a generous body size of 4,715mm in length and 1,735mm in height, providing a spacious 839 liters of cargo space. This meets the lifestyle needs of daily life and outdoor activities. Finally, with a price competitiveness in the 30 million KRW range after subsidies, it aims to popularize sports utility EVs, showcasing its worth as part of the PRICE Class.
To address any inquiries about the Torres EVX, a ‘Ask Anything?’ Q&A corner will be available. Consumers can leave questions on the Torres EVX microsite, which will be answered during the ‘online showcase Q&A session.’ Additionally, 100 participants who submit questions will be randomly selected to receive coffee coupons.
The ‘online showcase’ will be colorful and engaging, featuring not only the appeal of the Torres EVX but also its primary attributes, presented by well-known influencers and KG Mobility employees known for their challenges, adventures, and experiments in their respective fields.
