Honda Korea officially launches the all-new 6th generation ‘All-New CR-V Hybrid’ on the 21st, maximizing driving dynamics based on solid fundamentals. The All-New CR-V Hybrid introduces a new standard for hybrid SUVs across all aspects: powerful driving performance, excellent environmental efficiency, user-centered space and convenience, and enhanced safety performance.
The All-New CR-V Hybrid is priced at 55,900,000 KRW (including VAT) for the 4WD Touring trim. It is available in five colors: White, Gray, Black, and hybrid-exclusive colors Urban Gray and Blue.
The All-New CR-V Hybrid is available for purchase through Honda’s online platform, where customers can apply for test drives, obtain quotes, and complete contracts and payments 24/7, 365 days a year.
The powertrain features a newly developed 2.0L direct injection Atkinson engine combined with a next-generation 2-motor hybrid system with a new structure of E-CVT.
The engine delivers a driving performance of 147 horsepower and 18.6 kg∙m of maximum torque. It uses a minimum fuel clean combustion technology that combines high-pressure fuel direct injection with multi-stage injection for a powerful eco-friendly engine. For the first time in Honda vehicles, a full polyurethane cover and noise vibration absorbing materials have been employed to enhance quietness.
The newly developed E-CVT provides an enjoyable driving experience with EV-like motor power. Changes to the parallel axis structure of the drive motor and generator motor realize class-leading torque and output. Additionally, a lock-up high-gear clutch improves quietness during high-speed cruising, while a lock-up low-gear clutch contributes to towing ability and urban driving fuel efficiency.
Four drive modes (Normal, ECON, Snow, Sport) can be selected according to various driving conditions, and the enhanced deceleration selector allows for comfortable driving without using the brakes through one-pedal operation. Particularly on long downhill roads, combining with the B gear enables more active deceleration control.
Compared to the previous model, the All-New CR-V Hybrid features an increased length and wheelbase, achieving a balanced styling with a horizontal layout. The hybrid-exclusive design elements such as a black front grille, 19-inch black alloy wheels, and black roof rails provide a luxurious yet bold and sporty image.
The interior space is designed with a horizontal layout for increased openness, featuring a simple display and physical button configuration for user convenience. Luxurious black and gray leather with orange stitching adds a sporty touch.
The All-New CR-V Hybrid implements an intuitive dynamic view frame with a new package design. The front features a rectangular glass design, optimizing the A-pillars and hood shape for unobstructed, comfortable, and safe driving.
Increased dimensions compared to the previous generation provide spacious interiors and class-leading cargo space. The rear legroom has been expanded by 15mm, and the second-row reclining seats can be adjusted to eight levels, offering a comfortable environment for passengers. The trunk’s standard cargo space is 1,113L, sufficient for four golf caddy bags, four 25-inch travel suitcases, or a large stroller. Folding the second-row seats extends this to 2,166L, accommodating camping gear or providing ample comfort for large family trips.
Standard Honda SENSING features, equipped on the All-New CR-V Hybrid, include a wide-angle camera with a 90-degree field of view and radar with a 120-degree detection range, enhancing the performance of the adaptive cruise control (ACC) and lane keeping assist system (LKAS). The traffic jam assist (TJA) system now operates from 0 km/h, detecting lane markings with the camera in congested traffic. It also adds a low-speed brake control feature that detects obstacles in front or behind the vehicle, regulating driving force during low-speed travel.
Honda’s proprietary safety body design technology, ACE™ (Advanced Compatibility Engineering) body structure, along with a state-of-the-art 10-airbag system, including rear-side airbags and front knee airbags, ensures collision safety across various environments. The All-New CR-V Hybrid received the highest rating, TSP+ (Top Safety Pick+), from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
User-centric convenience features include two USB ports at the front and rear and a wireless smartphone charging system at the bottom of the center fascia. The audio system, comprised of 12 high-performance speakers, including a large subwoofer, delivers high-quality sound that exceeds expectations. The hands-free power tailgate is especially useful when your hands are full or you need to keep your hands free.
