Introducing the New Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid: An Elevated Blend of Power and Efficiency

Porsche has announced the unveiling of the new Cayenne S E-Hybrid, positioned between the Cayenne E-Hybrid and the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid.

The Cayenne S E-Hybrid focuses on achieving a refined balance between everyday usability and performance, marking it as the third plug-in hybrid model in the Cayenne series. Available in two body types—SUV and SUV Coupe—it delivers the balanced driving dynamics, convenience, and efficiency of the newly refreshed third-generation Cayenne. Thanks to the innovative hybrid technology and intelligent energy management of the new Cayenne, it boasts enhanced electric driving range and reduced charging times.

Equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 turbo engine producing 360 horsepower (PS) and a 176 horsepower (PS) electric motor, the total system output reaches 519 horsepower (PS) with a system torque of 76.5 kg∙m. It accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds, with a top speed of 263 km/h.

The standard adaptive air suspension on the new Cayenne S E-Hybrid offers improved performance and driving comfort. The innovative 2-chamber, 2-valve technology provides a wider range of driving characteristics than the previous generation, from a comfortable ride to a firmer setup suitable for dynamic driving. At the same time, it retains all the advantages of the optimized hybrid system of the current Cayenne generation. With a battery capacity of 25.9 kWh, it allows for a maximum electric-only driving range of up to 90 km (EAER City standard), making everyday urban commutes possible without exhaust emissions. The new onboard AC charger, with a maximum output of 11 kW, enables complete charging within 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The new Cayenne S E-Hybrid offers exterior packages in silver for the SUV and black for the Coupe. Standard features include matrix LED headlights for enhanced safety and convenience during night driving, with HD matrix LED headlights available as an option. Additionally, it comes equipped with 20-inch Cayenne S wheels and an exhaust system featuring two twin tailpipes made of brushed stainless steel.

Interior features include 14-way comfort seats, a sport chrono package with a mode switch for selecting desired driving modes, stainless steel pedal pads, and a Diamar interior package in silver shade as standard.

Furthermore, a new air purification system that filters fine particles and harmful substances is included, along with additional functions accessible via the My Porsche app, such as new features for Apple CarPlay. An optional passenger display featuring new in-car video functionality is also available.

The domestic sales prices for the new Cayenne S E-Hybrid and Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupe are set at 156.1 million KRW and 162.5 million KRW, respectively, including value-added tax, and they are expected to launch in the first half of next year.
