Rev Up for Doctor BMW Week: Exclusive Checks and Discounts Await!

BMW Group Korea will conduct the ‘Doctor BMW Week’ and ‘MINI Homecoming Week’ campaigns from August 14 to September 27, offering a variety of benefits such as free vehicle inspections and discounts on repairs at BMW and MINI official service centers nationwide for about 6 weeks.

This campaign is designed to assist customers in ensuring safe and comfortable driving through careful vehicle inspections considering the harsh driving conditions of summer and the upcoming holiday of Chuseok, and to promote the importance of proper vehicle maintenance.

During the event period, free inspection services will be offered for all BMW (5 years/100,000km) and MINI (5 years/60,000km) models whose consumable part replacement service has expired. Inspections will cover 40 items, including tires, brakes, various oils and filters, batteries, and hazardous materials both inside and outside the vehicle.

BMW Korea will also conduct a special safety inspection for electric vehicles during the Doctor BMW Week. This includes a visual inspection of the high-voltage battery housing, checking battery-related fault codes, and additional free inspections for some items such as tires and coolant. The eligible vehicles are all BMW electric vehicles released until 2021.

During the campaign period, there will also be discounts on paid repairs. Original parts and labor for BMW and MINI will receive a 20% discount, while original tires are discounted by 10%, and customers can receive up to 50% off replacement labor costs. Moreover, a total of 7 package products, including engine oil and filter packages, brake packages, undercarriage packages, and cooling system packages, are available at a 30% discount (including parts and labor).

If existing dashcams are upgraded to the BMW/MINI ACE 3.0 Pro dashcam, customers will receive a 30% discount on parts and labor. (Note that compatibility for vehicle upgrades needs confirmation through the service center.)

Additionally, various events for customers are prepared. Customers who use services exceeding a certain amount will receive a discount voucher worth up to 300,000 won for BMW/MINI golf products, based on the amount spent. Voucher registration and usage schedule will be communicated separately to customers after the campaign concludes, aligning with the launch of the new BMW golf collection.

Furthermore, BMW customers who sign up for ‘BMW Service Care Plus’ and complete vehicle drop-off and free inspections during the campaign period will receive an umbrella as a gift, while MINI customers will receive a gift item upon completing their free inspection at the service center, as well as windshield wipers if they purchase the MINI Extra package product.

For more details about the campaign, please check with the official BMW and MINI service centers nationwide or contact the communication center at 080-700-8000, or visit the official campaign website.

Meanwhile, all customers using the free inspection service during the campaign period can receive faster maintenance services through the ‘BMWžMINI Service Live’, which was officially launched in April. Customers will conveniently communicate without face-to-face interaction as service technicians will send videos of the vehicle inspection results through mobile text links if additional work is necessary.
