Wolves Star Hwang Hee-chan Appointed as Audi Q4 e-tron Ambassador

Audi Korea has selected Hwang Hee-chan, a player for the South Korean national football team and currently active in the English Premier League, as the official ambassador for the Audi Q4 e-tron.

Hwang Hee-chan, appointed as the ambassador for the Audi Q4 e-tron, made his European debut in 2014 by joining Austria’s FC Red Bull Salzburg. He transferred to Wolverhampton Wanderers FC in the Premier League as a loan player in 2021, and after being voted Player of the Month by Wolverhampton fans in October 2021, he made a permanent move to the club in 2022. Hwang will work with Audi Korea to promote Audi’s all-electric compact SUV model ‘Audi Q4 e-tron’ and to widely communicate the values of future mobility and sustainable progress that the Audi brand envisions.

Audi Korea explained the reasoning behind selecting Hwang Hee-chan as the ambassador for the Audi Q4 e-tron: “The progressive brand image of Audi, which presents a vision for premium future mobility, aligns well with Hwang Hee-chan’s vision, passion, and leadership as a representative of South Korean football on the global stage.”

The ‘Audi Q4 e-tron’ offered to Hwang Hee-chan is a pure electric SUV model in the compact segment that Audi first introduced in South Korea last September, achieving remarkable sales within just two months of its launch.

The pre-orders for the 2023 models ‘Audi Q4 40 e-tron’ and ‘Audi Q4 Sportback 40 e-tron’, which feature enhanced safety technologies and increased driving range, are set to be delivered to customers in August. Pre-orders for the 2023 ‘Audi Q4 e-tron’ can be made through official Audi dealerships nationwide and the Audi Korea official website.

Be the H-C, Hwang Hee-chan’s agency, stated, “The progressive image of Audi and the strong physicality of the player create a perfectly matching dynamic.”

Meanwhile, Hwang Hee-chan is expected to continue his football career at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC until 2026.
