Mercedes-Benz Korea successfully concluded the ‘Mercedes Trophy 2023 National Final’, part of the global premium amateur golf tournament ‘Mercedes Trophy 2023’, on the 28th and 29th of last month at CJ Nine Bridges in Jeju.
Now in its 32nd year, the Mercedes Trophy is a premium amateur golf event aimed at Mercedes-Benz customers, providing an opportunity for them to connect globally. Each year, more than 600 tournaments take place across over 60 countries, with approximately 60,000 amateur golfers participating.
The Mercedes Trophy 2023 held 11 regional qualifiers across the country from May 22 to July 17, attracting over 1,400 domestic Mercedes-Benz customers. Approximately 80 amateur golfers selected from these qualifiers competed in the National Final, divided into groups based on three handicap categories, with the top three performers in each group ultimately being chosen as representatives of Korea.
The three selected representatives will compete in the global finals, ‘Mercedes Trophy World Final’, which will take place in Germany from October 3 to 7, facing off against the best players from various countries. The highlight of the tournament, the World Final, will be held near Stuttgart, known as the ‘birthplace of the automobile’, and will feature both team and individual competitions.

We will continue to provide opportunities for customers to experience the charm of Mercedes-Benz through golf and other customer engagement platforms.”
This year’s event featured various new car releases, enhancing the fun for participants. Attendees had the chance to experience the newly launched luxury mid-size SUVs, the New Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLE Coupe, as well as view several models on display, including EQS SUV, Mercedes-AMG G 63 K-Edition20, Mercedes-AMG SL, New EQE SUV, and New Mercedes-Benz GLC. Additionally, a lucky draw offered various prizes, and a performance by singer Lynn created memorable moments for participants.
