MINI Korea has opened the world’s first JCW Performance Showroom, a specialized space dedicated to the high-performance brand JCW.
The newly launched JCW Performance Showroom was designed to offer an exceptional brand experience, allowing customers to experience the premium quality and driving performance unique to JCW, while addressing all related inquiries.
At the JCW Performance Showroom, customers can explore the entire JCW lineup in one place, including the new MINI JCW, new MINI JCW Convertible, new MINI JCW Countryman, and new MINI JCW Clubman.
The JCW zone within the showroom features a Heritage Wall, showcasing the history, motorsport heritage, and brand identity of JCW. Additionally, the JCW Parts Deck displays a variety of JCW original accessory parts, equipped with QR codes to enable customers to easily inquire and schedule the purchase and installation of JCW original parts they’ve been considering.
A specialized test drive program and product consultations are also offered for visitors. Unlike regular test drives, the JCW-specialized test drive program lasts approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour and allows customers to experience various functions and performance aspects, such as instantaneous acceleration, cornering, high-speed stability, braking ability, launch control, and manual gear shifts. This provides customers with an opportunity to fully appreciate JCW’s high-performance capabilities and the joy of driving. Furthermore, the program will include stops at nearby cafes, where visitors can relax and enjoy light refreshments while savoring the allure of JCW.
The JCW certified employees who completed the newly established JCW specialized training course at the BMW Training Academy, along with MINI product experts called ‘MINI Geniuses,’ will conduct guided tour programs and purchase consultations, providing customers with trustworthy and systematic services.
Customers can find the JCW Performance Showroom at four MINI dealerships across South Korea: Deutsche Motors Suwon Auto World, Bavarian Motors Songdo Complex, Kolon Motors Daegu, and Dongseong Motors Busan.
Meanwhile, MINI continually shares the charm and joy of driving through various participation programs and events, such as the ‘MINI JCW Challenge’ exclusively for JCW model owners, every year.
Last year, MINI sold 23,005 JCW vehicles worldwide, achieving an 8.9% increase compared to the previous year. In 2022, a total of 993 JCW models were sold in Korea, marking a remarkable growth of 45% compared to the previous year, setting a record for the highest annual domestic sales. Korea achieved the third-highest growth rate in the world, following Germany and Japan.
