Hyundai Motor Company is launching special financial promotions for electric vehicle customers.
Starting in July, Hyundai will offer reduced installment rates for customers purchasing the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, and Kona Electric. Additionally, customers who make purchases in July and August will receive support for charging costs through the ‘E-FINANCE’ initiative.
Hyundai will apply a 1.0 percentage point lower interest rate compared to June, regardless of whether customers select standard repayment, deferred repayment, or balloon payment options.
For instance, if a customer purchased the Ioniq 6 using the mobility standard type 60-month installment plan with an interest rate of 5.9% in June, the rate for the same conditions in July will be reduced to 4.9%.
Moreover, customers taking delivery of the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, or Kona Electric will benefit from electric vehicle charging support worth up to 1.6 million credits (1 KRW = 1 credit).
During July and August, Hyundai will provide customers with 800,000 credits, and customers will earn an additional 400,000 credits when spending over 10 million KRW with Hyundai-exclusive cards, including the ‘Hyundai EV’ card, and using Blue Save Auto.
Furthermore, an additional 400,000 credits will be given when utilizing Hyundai’s vehicle financing (over 10 million KRW, exceeding 12 months) or for rental/lease options.

A Hyundai representative stated, “In light of the recent increase in interest rates and electricity costs, the operational costs of electric vehicles for our customers have risen. We will continue to expand measures to substantially reduce the financial burden on electric vehicle customers in the future.”
Additionally, starting from July 3rd, Hyundai will host the ‘Summer Week Driving eXperience’ event, offering electric vehicle rental test drives to customers during the summer vacation period.
Customers interested in participating can apply through the official Hyundai website, the MyHyundai app, or Hyundai’s Instagram until July 23rd.
Winners will receive a test drive of the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, Kona Electric, or GV60 along with charging cards for a 3-night, 4-day experience to test the vehicle’s capabilities.
