Chabot Motors, the official importer for Ineos Automotive in Korea, has begun pre-reservations for the authentic off-roader, the Ineos Grenadier. Customers wishing to purchase can register starting from 2 PM on Tuesday, July 11, through the official Chabot Motors website. The domestic model is a five-passenger station wagon equipped with a 3.0-liter diesel engine, showcased for the first time in Asia at the “Domestic Media Presentation” and “2023 Seoul Mobility Show” in March.
Born from the idea of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Chairman of the Ineos Group, the Grenadier aims to offer the best off-road performance, durability, and practicality in its class. It combines the robust aesthetics and design of the UK with German engineering precision, featuring a proven BMW 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine, a ladder-frame chassis, full-time four-wheel drive, up to three locking differentials, and solid beam axles.
Chabot Motors had previously debuted the Ineos Grenadier in Asia at the “Domestic Media Presentation” and “2023 Seoul Mobility Show” in March. This pre-reservation is aimed at prospective customers who consistently requested the first 3.0-liter diesel engine applied to the five-passenger station wagon in the domestic market.
Starting July 11, pre-reservations will be available through the official Chabot Motors website, with applicants progressing to a formal contract in order. Customers will choose specific trims, colors, and finalize options and accessories following the main contract, before the vehicle is delivered according to individual schedules.
Customers wishing to make a pre-reservation can visit the Chabot Motors website, complete their membership registration, and pay the reservation fee (5 million KRW) to finalize their reservation (full refund is available upon cancellation). Meanwhile, the showroom “Ineos Grenadier Seoul” located in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, along with the service center “Ineos Grenadier Seoul Service Center,” is nearing completion of construction, with an official opening scheduled for August 4. The service center will operate as a full shop capable of handling everything from vehicle inspections to general repairs and accident vehicle repair.
