BMW Motorrad has appointed actor Kim Nam-gil as the ‘BMW Motorrad Buddy’ and has presented him with the high-performance roadster motorcycle, the M 1000 R.
‘BMW Motorrad Buddy’ is a spokesperson selected for best embodying the concepts pursued by BMW Motorrad, tasked with promoting the various charms of BMW Motorrad models through various activities over a designated period.
BMW Motorrad has chosen actor Kim Nam-gil, who has consistently transformed his performances to showcase dramatic charisma and an overwhelming presence, as the ideal BMW Motorrad Buddy to match the powerful performance and dynamic appeal of the M 1000 R.
As the ambassador for the BMW M 1000 R, Kim Nam-gil plans to deliver the unique appeal of BMW M motorcycles through test rides, various content, and activities.
The M 1000 R is a high-performance roadster motorcycle that captures the essence of motorsports. It is equipped with a 999cc water/oil-cooled 4-cylinder engine, producing a peak output of 210 horsepower and a maximum torque of 113Nm (11.5 kg·m), with both the M 1000 R and the M 1000 R Competition package available for sale through the ‘BMW Motorrad Shop Online.’
Additionally, the combination of the M Brake, which provides powerful braking performance, along with lightweight and durable M Carbon wheels (available only in the M Competition package), offers a more stable and dynamic riding experience.
