KG Mobility Expands Export Strategies in Africa, Middle East, and CIS Regions

KG Mobility has accelerated its export market penetration by hosting a conference to introduce new products with dealers from the Africa, Middle East, and CIS (referred to as the AMECIS) region.

The conference, held from the 16th to the 20th (local time) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was attended by product and marketing managers from dealerships in 13 countries within the AMECIS region.

Alongside the event, test drives of the Torres were conducted, and models such as the Rexton New Arena and Rexton Sports & Khan Cool Man, which underwent significant improvements in interior design and features during May and June, were introduced. Customization accessories like side steps and roof carriers were also showcased to reflect various consumer preferences and increase product competitiveness, garnering significant interest.

The conference provided an opportunity to share the new KG Mobility CI (Corporate Identity), corporate vision, and medium to long-term product development plans and export strategies. Through training on product enhancements, such as those related to Torres and Rexton New Arena, participants gained a better understanding of the products. Various strategies for expanding sales and strengthening competitiveness in the overseas market were also discussed, including the presentation of outstanding dealership activities in each sector.

Additionally, groundwork for a long-term cooperative relationship was established through prior exchanges with local dealers in various regions of Saudi Arabia concerning the SNAM project.

KG Mobility plans to increase sales volume by expanding the launch of the Torres in the AMECIS region and increasing the number of new dealerships.

Meanwhile, the KD cooperation project with SNAM in Saudi Arabia is set to begin local assembly production in 2023, following the groundbreaking of the local assembly plant in January last year and the commencement of shipments in September this year. The plan is to expand production volume to around 30,000 units annually through construction for Phase 2 of the project.

KG Mobility also anticipates exporting a total of 169,000 units over seven years, including 90,000 units of the Rexton Sports & Khan and 79,000 units of the Rexton New Arena after the start of mass production with SNAM.

KG Mobility stated, “In addition to the dealer conference in Europe, we are intensifying our export market strategy by hosting a product introduction conference for dealers in the AMECIS region. Especially prior to the full-scale promotion of the SNAM project, we plan to further increase global sales volumes in the AMECIS region through active cooperation with local dealers and strengthening marketing strategies.”
