Hyundai’s Sales Milestone: First to Sell 3,000 Commercial Vehicles

Hyundai Motors has achieved a significant milestone with Executive Jin-Hwan Kim (aged 58) from the Gwangju Truck Branch becoming the first to reach a cumulative sales figure of 3,000 commercial vehicles.

This milestone represents the achievement of a record that Jin-Hwan Kim, as a commercial vehicle master at Hyundai, has reached after 32 years with the company since joining in 1991.

Previously, in December 2018, Jin-Hwan Kim achieved cumulative sales of 2,500 commercial vehicles, earning him the title of ‘Sales Master.’

Jin-Hwan Kim expressed, “I feel immense pride and honor that I have stepped on the milestone of being the first to sell 3,000 commercial vehicles.” He extended his gratitude to all customers, family, colleagues, and acquaintances who supported and encouraged him.

He highlighted the key factor behind being able to sell 3,000 commercial vehicles as “keeping promises to customers no matter what,” and stated, “I will remain true to my initial mindset and strive to lead by example, working diligently in sales to help Hyundai become a leader in the large truck mobility industry.”

Hyundai Motors is actively encouraging its sales staff, known as car masters, who are exerting their utmost efforts in the field with various reward systems such as a ▲ Sales Honor Reward System ▲ National Sales King and The Class Awards.

The ‘Sales Honor Reward System’ in the commercial vehicle sector offers recognition and awards for cumulative sales achievements: receiving the title of ‘Sales Artisan’ for 1,000 vehicles sold, ‘Sales Master’ for 1,500, ‘Sales Expert’ for 2,000, and ‘Sales Maestro’ for 2,500 vehicles sold.

Additionally, ‘National Sales King’ and ‘The Class Awards’ are events honoring Hyundai’s outstanding sales employees each year.
