Unleashing Adventure: The New Honda XL750 TRANSALP is Here!

Honda Korea officially launched the middleweight adventure motorcycle, the XL750 TRANSALP, on the 24th, and is now accepting pre-orders.

The XL750 TRANSALP is a dual-purpose model designed for urban riding, long-distance touring, and off-road adventures, characterized by its easy control and lively performance suitable for adventure riding.

The Honda TRANSALP series has been praised worldwide for its lightweight and compact design and comfortable touring performance since its first launch in 1986 with the XL600V TRANSALP. The newly unveiled XL750 TRANSALP is developed based on the concept of being the “perfect all-rounder that can go anywhere from everyday life to adventure,” inheriting the unique characteristics and charm of the TRANSALP series.

The XL750 TRANSALP features a familiar yet tough design, showcasing an adventure styling that anyone can ride without hesitation. Its aerodynamically designed large fairing and 210mm ground clearance ensure excellent handling on rough off-road terrains. LED headlights and taillights enhance visibility, while the bold design of the front and rear adds to its presence.

The power unit is optimized for both urban and off-road riding. The newly designed 755cc 270° crank parallel-twin engine delivers a lively performance with 91 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 7.6 kg.m of torque at 7,250 rpm. The down-draft intake system and swirl ducts allow for an immediate sense of driving feel across all RPM ranges.

To maximize the enjoyment of off-road riding, the motorcycle is equipped with long-travel suspension with 200mm up front and 190mm at the rear, large block-pattern tires, and a rear 2-channel ABS with On/Off settings. Additionally, it offers five riding modes: Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User. Another feature is the Assist & Slipper clutch that reduces the clutch lever operation load and alleviates the shocks during rapid shifts.

Electronics include a full-color 5-inch TFT multi-information display for intuitive information access, auto turn signal cancel after lane changes, and an emergency stop signal that quickly blinks hazard lights during sudden braking.

Alongside the launch of the XL750 TRANSALP, 29 types of accessories that further enhance the adventure style will be available. Riders can purchase various storage bags that are useful for carrying heavy loads or long-distance touring, as well as accessories suitable for off-road riding and tandem riding scenarios.

Lee Ji-hong, CEO of Honda Korea, stated, “The XL750 TRANSALP can be a reliable partner for novice off-road riders as well as those looking for comfortable long-distance touring on weekends. We hope many customers can experience true fun riding.”

The XL750 TRANSALP will be available in two colors: White and Matte Black, with a price set at 13,590,000 KRW (VAT included). Pre-orders will start on July 24, with the official release scheduled for late August.
