Bentley Motors Welcomes Robin Page as New Chief of Design

Bentley Motors announced on the 26th (local time) that designer Robin Page has been appointed as the new Chief of Design.

Robin Page comes with over 30 years of rich experience as an automotive designer. Recently, he served as the Global Design and UX Leader at Volvo Cars, where he established a new design language to support Volvo’s future electrification strategy.

Additionally, Robin Page worked at Bentley from 2001 to 2013, where he was in charge of interior design. He was responsible for the interiors of key Bentley models, including the iconic first-generation Continental GT, the flagship Mulsanne luxury sedan, and the State Limousine, of which only two were made for the British royal family.

Adrian Hallmark, Chairman and CEO of Bentley, expressed, “I am delighted to welcome Robin Page back to Bentley. He is a designer who helped establish the foundations of today’s Bentley Motors, having participated in the design of the first-generation Continental GT that redefined luxury grand tourers.”

Hallmark also noted, “Robin joins Bentley at a pivotal moment as we march toward full electrification by 2030, and I am excited for him to contribute to our goal of becoming a leader in sustainable luxury mobility based on his experience in designing innovative cars and his deep understanding of the Bentley brand.”

Robin Page commented, “Having spent a long time at Bentley in the past, I have maintained a deep bond with the brand and have kept a close eye on Bentley’s evolution even while being elsewhere. I am thrilled to return to Bentley to honor tradition and define new rules while establishing a new design language for the brand’s first electric vehicle.”

Robin Page will start his position as the Chief of Design at Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, UK, in September, succeeding Tobias Schulz. He will be responsible for overseeing exterior, interior, color, and trim design for the entire current and future Bentley lineup, concept cars, and show cars in collaboration with a team of over 50 Bentley designers.
