BMW Unveils the 750e xDrive: A New Era in Luxury Plug-in Hybrids

BMW Korea officially launches the ‘New 750e xDrive’, the plug-in hybrid model of its flagship sedan New 7 Series in the country.

The BMW New 7 Series provides a new level of mobility experience based on its overwhelming presence and luxurious aesthetics, coupled with a differentiated digital experience brought by the new entertainment system.

The plug-in hybrid model New 750e xDrive features a combination of BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder gasoline engine and a 197-horsepower electric motor, generating a combined system output of 489 horsepower. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds and comes equipped with a high-voltage battery with a total capacity of 22.1 kWh, which has improved performance by more than 50% compared to the previous generation, enabling a maximum range of 60 km on a single charge.

Additionally, the adaptive air suspension optimally adjusts the vehicle’s height according to speed and driving mode, offering exceptional stability and ride comfort. BMW Integral Active Steering, which can steer the rear wheels by up to 3.5 degrees, is included as standard, providing convenience during parking as well as outstanding high-speed stability.

The New 750e xDrive comes equipped with an advanced entertainment system that offers a new level of digital experience. The ‘BMW Theater Screen’ installed in the rear seats consists of a 31.3-inch panoramic display with a 32:9 aspect ratio and supports up to 8K resolution. By utilizing the vehicle’s eSIM service, which is the first of its kind in the Korean automotive industry in collaboration with the three major telecom companies, users can enjoy various content such as Netflix or YouTube at maximum 5G speed without a separate network connection.

Furthermore, the Executive Lounge provides ultimate comfort reminiscent of first-class airplane seats with rear seat reclining features and leg rests, while massage functions and the Heat Comfort Package, which heats all-door seats and the front center armrest, offer a luxurious and comfortable traveling experience.

The BMW New 750e xDrive is available in two trims: ‘Design Pure Excellence,’ emphasizing elegance, and ‘M Sport,’ featuring a sleek and powerful design. The pricing starts at 189.4 million KRW for the BMW New 750e xDrive Design Pure Excellence and 192.4 million KRW for the New 750e xDrive M Sport.
