2024 Hyundai Nexo: Enhanced Options and New Features Unveiled

Hyundai has launched the updated model of the Nexo, the ‘2024 Nexo’, enhancing its market appeal by incorporating popular customer preferences as standard features.

Hyundai has standardized high-demand features such as ▲ After-blow function ▲ USB Type-C chargers (2 in the front row and 2 in the second row) ▲ Second-row safety power windows ▲ Micro antibacterial filters, while also adding a new dark gray exterior color called ‘Amazon Gray’.

Additionally, the 2024 Nexo will be available in one premium trim, which has already seen about 97% customer preference from the existing Nexo. They have optimized the trim configuration by offering the previously included features in the premium trim, such as ▲ Wide sunroof and roof rack, and ▲ 19-inch wheels & tires as optional selections.

The starting sales price of the 2024 Nexo is set at 69.5 million won after tax benefits.

Taking into account the 32.5 million won subsidy based on this year’s standards from Seoul City (2.25 million won from the national government and 1 million won from local government), the actual purchase price for customers drops to 37 million won.

Since its launch in March 2018, Hyundai’s hydrogen fuel cell vehicle Nexo has sold 31,995 units in the domestic market up to May of this year.

To ensure convenience for Nexo owners, Hyundai plans to continuously expand various forms of hydrogen refueling infrastructure, including mobile hydrogen refueling stations.

A Hyundai representative stated, “We have strengthened customer convenience through additional features and adjusted the trim operation according to customer preferences,” adding, “Hyundai will continue to strive for a sustainable society through hydrogen mobility in the commercial sector alongside the Nexo.”
