Kia Hosts Exciting Global Service Advisor Competition to Enhance Customer Satisfaction

Kia announced on the 23rd that it successfully completed the ‘2023 Global Service Advisor Competition’ at the Kia Osan Service Training Center in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, from June 20 (Tuesday) to June 22 (Thursday).

The ‘Kia Global Service Advisor Competition’ has been held biennially since 2011 to discover the best service advisors and enhance customer satisfaction. After a hiatus due to COVID-19, this year’s event marks its sixth iteration.

The competition featured 45 service advisors from 42 countries who qualified through preliminary competitions, vying for the title of the best service advisor.

The finals, held in Korea, consisted of a written exam to assess knowledge of customer interaction processes aimed at enhancing the role of service advisors, and a practical exam to identify improvement points in customer interaction cases and evaluate on-site response skills.

As a result of the finals, Kia selected a total of 8 awardees, including 1 gold medalist, 2 silver medalists, 3 bronze medalists, and 2 excellence award recipients, presenting them with cash prizes and trophies.

The gold medalist, Ms. Yeni Poblete Bustamante from Chile, expressed her excitement, stating, “I am thrilled to win in a competition where the world’s best service advisors gathered. In the future, I will take the initiative to promote a differentiated brand to our customers based on my pride in Kia.”

In addition to participating in the finals, the participants had enriching experiences visiting the Incheon Flagship Store, the Kia360 multi-brand experience space, and Autoland Hwaseong, focusing on service, brand, and production.

A Kia representative stated, “As the first offline competition after the COVID pandemic, we prepared this event not just as a test of skills among service advisors but to instill a sense of pride in representing Kia. We expect our capable service advisors to provide differentiated customer experiences in their respective fields.”
