Mercedes-Benz Partners with TV Chosun for New Weekend Mini-Series ‘Asee Durian’

KCC Auto, the official dealer of Mercedes-Benz, is providing production support for the new weekend mini-series ‘Asee Durian’ on TV Chosun. ‘Asee Durian’ is a fantasy drama that transcends time and space, featuring an unusual story and notable writing from acclaimed screenwriter Im Sung-han, known for multiple hit projects. The plot revolves around two mysterious women, ‘Durian’ (Park Joo-mi) and ‘Kim So-juh’ (Lee Da-yeon), who appear in a wealthy family, sparking unexpected events.

KCC Auto stated, “As part of our campaign to expand awareness of the Mercedes-EQ brand, we are providing production support. We plan to broaden KCC Auto’s recognition and brand intersect with various sedan models, including the Mercedes-EQ models EQS 350 and EQE 350, along with the Mercedes-Benz S 400 d 4MATIC, CLS 300 d 4MATIC, and E 220 d 4MATIC AMG Line.”

The exterior of the New EQS 350 reflects the design language of the New EQS with streamlined lines and a seamless design that minimizes joints. Additionally, the Electric Art exterior package enhances the modern feel characteristic of electric vehicles.

Optimized for aerodynamics, a combination of 20-inch 5-spoke lightweight alloy wheels adds sportiness. Inside, it features a 12.3-inch driver display and a vertically oriented 12.8-inch OLED central display, first introduced in Mercedes’ luxury flagship sedan, the New S-Class.

Drivers can intuitively control vehicle functions via the central display, which offers clear visuals unaffected by viewing angle or lighting conditions.

Powered by a 90.6kWh battery with Mercedes’ innovative battery management software, the vehicle can travel up to 440km on a single charge (certified by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy).

The electric motor mounted on the rear axle delivers a maximum output of 215 kW, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds.

The New EQE is the second model developed on Mercedes’ large electric vehicle architecture ‘EVA2’ following the luxury electric sedan ‘The New EQS’. The EQE has a distinct appearance that differs completely from the existing E-Class while closely resembling the EQS.

With a low and sleek front profile, coupe-like silhouette, and sporty rear spoiler, it exudes a sporty sedan aesthetic. The Mercedes-EQ’s design features, such as the black panel grille densely peppered with the triangular star motif, are also included.

The triangular star panel continues into the interior, where numerous miniature triangular stars adorn the wide dashboard. Inside, the space is generous. The wheelbase of the New EQE 350+ measures 3120 mm, which is 180 mm longer than the standard E-Class and 14 mm longer than the S-Class.

Equipped with an 88.89kWh battery, it can achieve a driving range of up to 471 km on a single charge.

The S 400 d 4MATIC measures 5210 mm in length, 1955 mm in width, 1505 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3106 mm, boasting a large flagship sedan over 5 meters long and nearly 2 meters wide.

The AMG Line exterior package is standard, incorporating distinctive AMG design elements. The front features an AMG front air apron with A Wing design, while the rear includes an AMG rear diffuser featuring chrome accents and fins.

The digital light at the front was first applied to the New S-Class. This high-resolution lighting system includes projection modules with over 1.3 million pixels per headlamp and 84 high-performance multi-beam LED modules. Utilizing data collected in real time from cameras, sensors, and navigation, the system optimizes the brightness of each headlamp pixel for driving.

When driving at night, the effectiveness is quite noticeable. The chrome-encased front radiator, large air intakes, chrome embellishments on the sides, a chrome strip above the rear lamps, and dual tailpipes finished in chrome enhance the vehicle’s luxuriousness.

The New CLS 300 d 4MATIC comes standard with the AMG line. The front features a newly designed Mercedes-Benz star logo grille, an AMG-specific front air apron, and a silver chrome front splitter,

highlighting dynamic design features such as sporty air intakes and sophisticated rear lamp detailing with an AMG spoiler lip, which further enhances its sporty appeal.

The New CLS 300 d 4MATIC is equipped with 19-inch AMG 5-spoke lightweight alloy wheels that harmonize with the AMG lineup.

The New E-Class features a more dynamic exterior, a comfortable interior with diverse amenities, a powerful and efficient new powertrain, an evolved intelligent drive system, and augmented reality navigation that brings various innovations.

The front showcases a power dome on the hood and newly designed full LED headlights, creating a more dynamic impression. The rear features a newly designed split-type tail lamp that extends into the trunk line, offering a completely fresh feeling.

A spacious interior is tastefully completed with high-quality materials and technological innovations. Key elements include the MBUX system with augmented reality navigation, a new design of a touch-sensitive intelligent steering wheel, and the wide-screen cockpit display consisting of two 12.3-inch displays, standard across the lineup.

Meanwhile, KCC Auto, the official dealer of Mercedes-Benz, currently operates a total of 9 new car showrooms and 9 official service centers nationwide, along with 3 certified pre-owned car exhibition halls.
