Kakao T Valet Service Enhances Convenience at Incheon Airport and Theme Parks

Kakao Mobility has launched a reservation service for visitors to Incheon Airport’s Terminal 2 with its ‘Kakao T Valet’ and has introduced a bundled wagon rental service at theme parks such as Everland and Seoul Land.

Kakao Mobility anticipates a significant recovery in demand for international travel this May due to several consecutive holidays. As a result, the Kakao T Valet reservation service at Incheon Airport’s Terminal 2 is now operational. Indeed, according to data from the Korea Tourism Organization, the demand for overseas travel by Koreans soared by an astonishing 911.8% compared to the same period last year in March.

The Kakao T Valet reservation service can be accessed by searching for ‘Incheon Airport Terminal 2’ on Kakao Navi. The valet reservation fee is 20,000 KRW, and parking fees will be separately charged based on the duration of use and the parking location (indoor or outdoor).

The new service is available in five locations, including Incheon Airport Terminal 2, Gimpo Airport, Everland, Seoul Grand Park, and COEX. There are plans to further expand the reservation service to major landmarks with high visitor traffic in the future.

Additionally, a wagon rental service for families traveling with children has been introduced at theme parks for customers using ‘Kakao T Valet’.

The service began at Everland on the 9th, with an additional launch at Seoul Grand Park scheduled for this month. Customers using valet services at Everland and Seoul Grand Park can rent a wagon stroller simultaneously while dropping off their vehicle at the parking lot, enhancing convenience for those accompanying children.

The usage method is simple. Search for Everland or Seoul Grand Park on Kakao Navi, and select the ‘Valet and Wagon Rental’ service. Alternatively, you can click the valet icon under the ‘My Car Management’ tab on Kakao Navi, choose Everland or Seoul Grand Park from the list of reservation locations, and apply for the ‘Valet and Wagon Rental’ service.

The service fees for ‘Valet and Wagon Rental’ are 65,000 KRW for Everland and 35,000 KRW for Seoul Grand Park, which includes parking fees. Customers can cancel their reservations for free at any time if they are unable to use the service.

In celebration of the launch of the new service at Everland, there will be an event providing ‘Chunshiki balloons’ to users of the ‘Valet and Wagon Rental’ service until supplies last, along with the launch of a combined product offering ‘Valet and Vehicle Interior Cleaning.’

Kakao Mobility’s General Manager, Kim Jae-hyun, stated that “Kakao T Valet has been pioneering in resolving parking inconveniences by integrating ICT technology into the traditionally analog-centered industry,” and added, “We will continue to strive to improve parking convenience and develop additional services and options that reflect user needs.”
