BMW Korea Launches Real-Time Vehicle Maintenance Update Service

BMW Group Korea will officially launch the ‘Service Live’ program, which provides customers using official AS services with real-time updates on vehicle maintenance, starting from April 17.

BMW and MINI’s Service Live is a service that remotely provides customers with photo and video documentation of the inspection and repair processes for vehicles admitted to official service centers. The information related to vehicle maintenance will be sent via text messages, facilitating easy communication about inspection results or any additional repairs needed.

Once the vehicle is admitted and work begins, service technicians will upload details along with images and videos to Service Live. Service advisors will then send text messages to customers, who can check the updated information through a URL link provided in the message.

If further work is required on the vehicle, customers can quickly decide whether to proceed based on the relevant materials and consultations, effectively reducing the effort and time needed for maintenance.

From April 17 to May 31, BMW Group Korea will conduct an ‘All Care Week’ campaign at BMW and MINI official service centers nationwide. During this period, an event will mark the launch of the Service Live program. Customers who check their vehicle status through the service live URL link provided in a text after an inspection during the event period will receive a Starbucks mobile coupon.

Meanwhile, on April 6, BMW Group Korea introduced the ‘Intelligent Workshop System,’ a digital vehicle management solution at all BMW and MINI official service centers, aiming to achieve maximum customer satisfaction through digital innovation in the AS sector.
