Celebrating 30,000 Sales: SsangYong Launches Customer Care Programs and Free Vehicle Inspections

SsangYong Motors is operating a customer appreciation vehicle inspection service and integrated customer care program to celebrate the sale of 30,000 Torres vehicles.

The customer appreciation vehicle inspection service by SsangYong, commemorating the sale of 30,000 Torres, will be conducted from March 21 to 31 at over 310 service networks nationwide. During this period, vehicles brought in will receive free inspections on ▲ air conditioning/heater operation and filter check ▲ engine oil leak inspection and replenishment, along with various oil condition checks ▲ brake condition check ▲ tire wear and pressure check ▲ coolant check and replenishment, covering a total of 10 inspection items.

SsangYong is also launching a regular update campaign for the Torres navigation (AVN) system. Following the full-size map upgrade for the Infocon AVN in October last year, this campaign will provide regular navigation (AVN) updates aimed at improving performance and system stability for customers who received their vehicles before March 2023. Torres vehicles produced and shipped from March onward will come with the updates already completed, ensuring stable performance.

Regarding the issue of snow accumulation on the Torres headlights, improvements have been developed, with testing and certification processes underway. A campaign will be implemented in the coming fourth quarter to ensure that all customers can receive service without inconvenience before the upcoming winter.

Additionally, SsangYong is strengthening customer service through the operation of an ‘integrated customer care program’ to enhance customer satisfaction and realize customer-centered value.

The ‘integrated customer care program’ is the first of its kind in the industry, providing continuous service to customers throughout the entire period from vehicle delivery to disposal, based on the longest warranty period in the country. This includes a 5-year/100,000 km free warranty applicable to all models, with plans to operate ABC (Above and Beyond Care) services and Revember services (offering two free inspections per year).

The ‘ABC service’ targets new car buyers, aiming to minimize inconveniences through regular communication for one year from the date of delivery, along with optimized services for vehicle consultations and maintenance through high-tech manager operations.

Kim Kwang-ho, Head of Domestic Business Division at SsangYong Motors, said, “The integrated customer care program we prepared to reward customers who chose the Torres is a differentiated customer care service from other automotive manufacturers in the country. We aimed to improve customer service satisfaction through perfect vehicle management from purchase to disposal point. In the future, we will always prioritize customers by thinking from their perspective and strive to provide the products and services they want, realizing customer-centered value.”
