Genesis has launched the ‘2023 G90’ and has commenced full-scale sales.
The 2023 G90 enhances its appeal by adding the gasoline 3.5 turbo 48V electric supercharger (e-S/C) engine to the standard models, broadening customer choice, and incorporating a range of safety and convenience features as standard.
Genesis has equipped the 2023 G90 with the gasoline 3.5 turbo 48V electric supercharger engine, which was previously available only in the long-wheelbase model, to provide a more ample power performance.
The gasoline 3.5 turbo 48V e-S/C engine improves acceleration responsiveness at low and mid-range speeds by supplying compressed air, further compressing it through the motor at low engine RPMs, bringing the maximum torque point earlier compared to the 3.5 turbo engine.
Genesis has strengthened the vehicle’s appeal by making the driving assistance package, which includes various safety and convenience features such as ▲surround view monitor ▲rear side monitor ▲remote smart parking assist (including wide-angle camera-based parking and angled parking) ▲parking collision avoidance assist (front/side/rear) ▲augmented reality navigation ▲front seat pre-active seatbelt, standard equipment.
The infotainment system display now allows the automatic closing of the rear doors, enhancing the usability of the easy-close function, and has newly introduced ESEV (Engine Sound by Engine Vibration), which measures engine vibrations in real time and converts them into sound for a more immersive engine experience. (Note: ESEV is applied when the Bang & Olufsen sound package is selected.)
Additionally, new 21-inch wheels have been added as an option for the standard models, and the previously available recommendation combinations have been expanded from two to three: ▲Popular Collection ▲Premium Collection ▲Prestige Collection, providing a more segmented custom specification combination for customers. (Note: The 21-inch wheels are available only when selecting the gasoline 3.5 turbo 48V electric supercharger engine.)
The sales price for the 2023 G90 starts at 94.07 million won for the standard model and 167.57 million won for the long-wheelbase model. (Note: Based on individual consumption tax of 3.5%.)
