Hyundai Mobis Unveils Innovative Technologies at 2023 Seoul Mobility Show

Hyundai Mobis will participate in the <2023 Seoul Mobility Show> held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do from March 31st to April 9th, showcasing innovative technologies. Building on its success at CES earlier this year, the company will present its M.Vision series and other concepts of future mobility to domestic visitors in a unique format.

The 2023 Seoul Mobility Show marks Hyundai Mobis’s first opportunity to meet domestic consumers post-pandemic. Under the theme ‘Hi! For a Better Tomorrow,’ the company will introduce the envisioned world of future mobility in the largest exhibition space ever (720㎡, approximately 218 pyeong).

Hyundai Mobis is set to capture the audience’s attention with a total of 11 exhibits displayed across three areas. Visitors will have the chance to encounter the company’s pioneering technologies in the Future Mobility Zone, Technology Promotion Zone, and Brand Zone.

In the Future Mobility Zone, the purpose-built mobility (PBV) models M.Vision TO and HI will be making their Korean debut. M.Vision TO is an electrified autonomous concept vehicle incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as e-corner systems, autonomous driving sensors, and communication lighting. Attendees can experience novel mobility through crab driving with wheels that rotate 90 degrees and 360-degree spins in place.

The M.Vision HI, developed for leisure and relaxation, will also be showcased. Inside the vehicle, there are adjustable chairs and a large display equipped with gaze recognition technology. By simply moving their gaze or hands, visitors can easily enjoy content like movies or online shopping.

The M. Tech Gallery, dedicated to technology promotion, will display numerous cutting-edge technologies being developed by Hyundai Mobis. Notably, the world’s first brainwave-based healthcare technology ‘M.Brain,’ which received a CES Innovation Award, and the ‘Next-Generation Rear Steering System,’ selected as an award-winning innovation technology, will be featured. To enhance visitor engagement, docents will be available to provide explanations of the technologies on display.

In addition to the exhibits, a dedicated area to introduce the brand identity will be set up for the first time. Hyundai Mobis aims to familiarize attendees with its corporate brand through its new slogan ‘The One for All Mobility,’ which encapsulates the mobility of tomorrow in every moment of movement. Visitors will also have the chance to view artistic works created in collaboration with British influencer and typographic artist, James Cook, who draws with a typewriter.

Meanwhile, during the exhibition, Hyundai Mobis will operate the ‘Junior Engineering Classroom,’ a representative social contribution activity aimed at elementary school students. Activities include learning about the principles of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and creating mini-cars or cleaning robots. Any elementary school attendee can register at the Hyundai Mobis booth on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes will be conducted once on weekdays and twice (morning and afternoon) on weekends.
